Revolver named Scowl's 2023 EP as one of Rock's top albums of 2023. I think Scowl is doing what Metallica did in 1984 with Ride the Lightning. They kept the speed from 1983's Kill Em All but added melodic songs too. Scowl did the same with the latest album. 3 very fast songs and 2 melodic songs. It seems to be working. Let's hope they're the next big thing in Rock. We really need a young band for this decade...@@rawchickensandwich

I'm not a big fan of this song but if it's the creative direction Scowl want to take, so be it. I prefere their more brutal songs (Dead to me, Fuck around, retail hell..)
