Some people actually do use the colorblind mode to help. I myself am colorblind I have had it on for awhile now and it’s so much easier. But I’m just Diamond on pc so I guess it doesn’t make huge difference. Was masters on console.

So as someone whos vaguely colornlind, the colors blue and red are sometimes hard to see on the background, so I use pink for friendly and yellow for enemy since I see those colors vibrantly against the background. As someone from OW1 and in on the joke, youre right, I'm vaguely near plat or diamond if I had to guess my secret MMR since I dont play ranked(yet)

Hey flat how do you feel about either making widow do 190 or making her stack dmg that starts at 70ish and increases for each consecutive shot until 200. After a while of no shots the dmg begins to reduce. This won’t hinder good widows who can hit multiple shots in a row but will stop dominating one shots

Really good players like Seeker and I've even seen Kai and Decay use yellow sometimes. It's the best alternate color for colorblind people, I know Seeker is colorblind. I'm also colorblind I feel blind with red outlines lol so I use yellow.

I completely disagree with the bronze take. I've seen both bronze on PC and bronze on console and PC is 100% worse. My hypothesis is that a controller for an inexperienced player is a lot more accessible while a mouse requires a lot more control to use properly. The difference between skill floor and skill ceiling for a mouse is a lot wider than a controller.

I was an Ashe player in bronce in ow 1 abd i think even if your aim isnt terrible you cant do much with her there, cause you have basically no chance touching carts or points with her, when your tank isnt that good. I started playing soldier a lot more and got instantly out of bronce to silver. At the end of ow 1 i was 5 points below gold and atm in ow 2 i am actually plat 1 and started playing ashe in ranked again and owning with her

Frankly Numbani on console is such a bait and switch, especially since OW2. You can be in diamond and people will still hold in bizarre-a** positions. Guys, this map was figured out literally years ago, nobody sits on cart to hold jesus christ. Also junkrat is played straight up to masters, but the good junkrats hold right and terrorize anything coming any of those 3 paths with impunity. The real way to tell if it's gold is the support lineup, because anybody trying a defense zen/moira has been huffing straight glue.

If by ranking system you mean the actual mathematics for how ranks and MMR's are calculated based on performance and results, I don't believe there's any difference between platforms. It's just that these ranking systems are relative instead of absolute, so a rank in one playerbase can be weaker or stronger than the same rank in another playerbase. So the top ranks on PC and consoles may be quite similar, but since bronze is the lowest rank, if the worst console players are significantly worse than the woerst PC players, they'll both still be bronze. No need for any differences in the algorithms for calculating ranks in order to reach that difference.

I don't know if Jay has done the PC vs console showdown, but SVB definitely has, and it's just like you said, PC dominated until Masters
