The US Open is the final Grand Slam of the year and takes place at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The 2021 US Open saw Russia's Daniil Medvedev and Great Britain's Emma Raducanu claim the men's and women's singles titles. It was both players' first major title, with 18-year-old Raducanu becoming the first-ever qualifier to achieve the feat. The 2022 US Open main draw is scheduled to go ahead between August 30 - September 11.

Flavia, who went on to become the champion that year, was by far the fitter player and, on a very hot and steamy day in NYC, that made all the difference.

She definitely should have more than 2 Grand Slams to her name, but she has a high-risk game and her movement can be exploited. But I'd definitely put her in the 5-8 Grand Slam range.
