Very much, so they don't talk about it much at all. But they are very delicious and high in protein.

Oven!! Ok that's definitely a new one for me!!
@TheUrbanCultureKitchen Жыл бұрын
Cooking it in the oven cooks a lot faster and you control the temperature evenly in a Dutch oven. But most of the time you could just cooking it on the stove top is one way to do it without worrying about burning as well.

Now this is what they should look like when ready to eat. Thick, beefy, creamy and buttery. I am going to try this recipe. I lost mine in a move with all of my other recipes (think they were taken by the moving people, cause the complete cooking box is gone!) Lesson learned. Thank you for your recipe. Going to be making it later today. Happy New Year, 2024)

Basic Northern blackeyed peas. I never use ham hock and never use chicken broth or butter. Yet I always get cream gravy. Mine are so good I have had muslim and jewish guys still eat it knowing there was pork in there. I am well known for mine.

How many times y’all scratch, pick , sweaty. People prepared your food and you sucking your nasty fingers. Some people crack me up 😂
