A driver using false number plates attempts to flee the police by driving into oncoming traffic on a motorway, whilst a Leicestershire drug dealer abandons his car in a bid to avoid being caught! There's no rest for the #MotorwayCops !

@@yeahme8367 we have no idea what the speed limit is neither what speeds they are doing and it is not a built up area with zero junctions. This was a safe overtake. I feel sorry for the driver.

@@Stanley88845 the dash cam date and speed is blurred for the program but, the original copy would have that info with gps to bacm it up thats what the police would see

Camera car going slow and even swerved? If you’re scared of a car that wants to travel the speed limit passing you where there’s ample space and time for it, it’s time to hand the licence back

Why would any criminal stop for the police when the punishment for fleeing and recklessly putting everyone’s life at risk is so petty. If I was in their place I think I’d chance fleeing too having now seen how light the punishment is if you get caught.

I guess prevents them legally getting a driving licence for 4 1/2 years after prison. But yes 4 1/2 years ban from driving for someone without a licence who's already in a life of crime won't be a deterrent.

Bring back sending serial offenders to a remote penal colony in Australia, for example. No visitation rights and hard labour. Break their criminality fixation and spirit. Just because British prisons might be full, that is no excuse for lenient sentences. Response to article only.

Driving offences NEED to have harsher sentences. This video proves it. If I ran away from police with a loaded weapon in my hands I'd get more severe sentencing. This is no different (These mugs are still in control of a weapon) and yet get suspended sentences? Get off.

@@thelagbros7675 it is not how it works because gun control makes sure people are safe from being shot. you dont see the criminals in this video getting shot after fleeing because they "reached for something". i see half of american pursuits end up with the criminal getting shot because they had a gun that they reached for.
