I am a Poppy player and the Urgot dash interaction is one of the most random in the game, sometimes I easly block it and sometimes it easly ignore my W. It's interesting to see that Gragas has a similar problem in that matchup, Urgot's dash must have a very spaghettified code

you really don't have to E in the millisecond that urgot start dashing... you can cancel urgot's dash at any point, you CAN'T cancel the charge before the dash, urgot E consist on 2 parts, charge and dash, the charge is unstoppable, the dash not... the only way you have to be super precise with the timing is when you are in melee range

Try to E into urgot when you see he is getting a shield cause the animation is pretty instant are you will be able to cancel his e , instead of waiting for animation watch for the shield cause E gives him shield.
