Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on KZfaq, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on KZfaq. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on KZfaq, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.
If you enjoy this video and my reactions make sure you subscribe to the channel, like the video and comment down below which video you would like to see me react to next.
This is a reaction video used to educate and give my feedback on the song and artists.

Great track. Funnily enough, we just last night saw the best Fleetwood Mac Tribute Band, ‘Rumours Of Fleetwood Mac’. Introduced on screen at the beginning of the Show, by Mick Fleetwood, himself. Sensational. 🎶❤️🎶

I still think the live version from "The Dance" 1997 is the best. They were well seasoned pros by this time, and it marked the 20th anniversary of their best selling album "Rumors". Broadcast live on MTV, it also marked the band's reunion after a near decade-long absence. It was a pretty big deal at the time.

In 1977 when I bought Rumors, I got it for Go Your Own Way. Then I got home and listened to the full album and The Chain became my favorite. It just rocks. I never got to see them in concert but I did see Stevie in 1983 and 1989.

Mate, Lindsay & Stevie broke up in 1977, during the recording of the Rumors album, this concert takes place 5 years later and you can still see how raw their emotions still are for each other…They are singing right at and through each other in a dual of voices….Good Luck Jjh

That's not true. After Rumors; the band put out Tusk in '79, a major project from Lindsey. After that, it was 3 years before their next album, Mirage in '82, then Tango in the Night in '87, which would be Lindsey's last album until their return in '95 with Time. They performed together off and on until Stevie have the band an ultimatum. Either her or Lindsey. She said she couldn't go on with him in the band. Say You Will in 2003 was Lindsey's last album with the band.

I'm glad that you do that, you need to listen to that shit on your own terms sometimes. It's not going to be in the same context as what we heard when we were young hearing all this stuff but it's definitely in the direction. And you seem to really be able to pay attention and so I'm glad you made that point. For me, and really being as old as I am, I still listen to a lot of new music, and I always do the same thing as I do with old music, I just try to figure out the various parts put myself in their shoes figure out how to play it figure out what the direction of the production is think about the mood of it and then just relax and fucking enjoy it. I know that a lot of people my age see it as a one-way Street, we're the only good music was before but as a musician myself of many decades, everything is new to me all the time. I love the old stuff I believe it's enlightening add stupendous. But I'm going to listen to new stuff always

I'm such a big fan of this band! These types of performances will never be again. These artists wore their pain and wrote about it and all their fans were so blessed to have experienced their lives threw their beautiful tunes. And this was such a great reaction, thank you Shawn. Here's another song to give a listen, if interested. "SONGBIRD - Christine McVie" (by the channel: CK WOOD Music Productions) --This was Christine McVie's solo on side #1 of the "Rumors" album, demonstrating her own talents apart from the rest of the group. (One of my personal favorites). And as always, I enjoyed rocking with you brother. Thanks for sharing.

Another great song from the "Rumours" album. "The Chain" was written during the turmoil in all of their lives. Lindsay Buckingham & Stevie Nicks were ending their years long relationship, John & Christine McVie's marriage broke down, as did that of Mick Fleetwood & his wife Jenny Boyd. Their album "Rumours" (1977) is one of the best-selling albums in history. All the songs on it are great such as "Dreams", "Go Your Own Way", "Don't Stop", "You Make Loving Fun". "Second Hand News", "Gold Dust Woman" etc. Sadly Christine McVie passed away recently.

Difficult to see here, but Lyndsey has a most unusual style of playing his guitar. He doesn't "pick" with the bottom of his fingers and finger nail liuke everybody else, he "flicks" the strings using the top of his fingernail! As a self taught player he said he didn't know any better while he was learning and got comfortable with his own style.

Lindsey was kicked out of the band in 2018, which was pretty big news on the rock world at the time. The band members have kept cryptic about why exactly it happened but they let slip that basically, Stevie had (again) taken offense to something he did and gave an ultimatum to mick Fleetwood that either he goes or she goes. Obviously, Stevie nicks is objectively a bigger crowd and sales drawer than Lindsey so they sided with her. Mick Fleetwood always maintained that he hoped Lindsey could rejoin the band and Christine said the same (and Lindsey hoped so too) so it sounds like it was really more of a Stevie issue, and the rest of them didn’t want to do it. At any rate they replaced him with Neil Finn to do vocals and recently-free Mike Campbell of the heartbreakers (as Tom petty had just died not long before) to handle guitar. It took two separate people to make up a mediocre replacement for Lindsey. In that time he’s released a new solo album. Neil Finn always maintained that he and Mike Campbell would quickly step aside if Lindsey were to rejoin the band - he was well aware they were a patchwork replacement and not a permanent fix. I wasn’t a fan of their lineup but I respected them for saying that. And it looked like it was going to happen but then in that time Christine Mcvie died. Mick Fleetwood has basically said that with her death, it’s killed all hopes of a reunion (which was sort of shaky before she died anyways). Maybe they’ll do a one-off thing but I don’t think there will be any world tour or album.
