I saw the engine compartment the adjustable Kelsey Hayes proportioning valve should be under the master cylinder like my JL8 is that I I've had since 74. I don't see a proportioning valve at all. Do you even have one you will need one for the brakes to work right 1200 psi for the fronts the rears around 400 psi depending on the tires with little tires less, more with wide tires. The only thing that is special is the brackets the calipers & rotors are straight of the vette shelf. ps it's the best feature on the car.

those jl8 brakes are not original to that car .that rear was added when it was restored.

I would request an original sales invoice and window sticker showing that it was originally on the car. The JL8 would add value to the Z, but if it originally was ordered on the car, it would add even more value

The gentleman says not all Z28's came with power steering. In 1969 power steering was not an option on the Z28. May not be a real Z28. Still is a beautiful car.

Just to set the record straight, power steering was definitely an option on a 69 Z28, know your facts before you speak

My 1969 Z/28 had power steering . I bought it in July 1969 off the indoor show room at the local Chevy dealer .

That exhaust system does not look like a factory option.I may be wrong but ...I have never seen an exhaust on a 60`s Camaro look like that...what do you chevy guys know about it ?!

It's a chamberred exhaust. It was an option.

It was a rare option. I've heard they had issues with customers complaining they where getting tickets from noise violations. A different optional exhaust option supposedly replace the chambers part way through 1969. The jl8 brake option is said to be an early year option as well.

Gardner exhaust, if the car was ordered with it...another rairly seen option.
