Looking forward to the next one..I really liked the brief interior shots and see nothing wrong with a little self advertising such as ..you can also follow in our wake with your own flemming..have you seen the old mutual of Omaha wild kingdom with host marlin perkins he did a little blurb for the sponsor and 98% was the show I don't see why you can't do that and I remember those shows and is why I like yours so much.

Mesmerizing beauty and wonderful photography. Always wondered about that West Coast of Canada and the many inlets. This is much more interesting than the North West Passage with its green rainforests, wildlife and waterfalls. My family navigated the waters of the Great Lakes in a 34ft Chris Craft boat named (VENTURE:) for 30 years. When my father gave up boating I continued to navigate the Great Lakes in a kayak island hopping in the North and summer paddling in the far Southern Western shores of hot tall sand dunes. I was born on the Great Lakes, my mother carrying me in her womb during the summer and giving birth to me in September. The life movements of the Lake waters peak my soul in emotional waves as tall and steep as the North West wind driven waves. Possibly my unborn memories of being on the waters speak to me still today. Whether flat water or 50k winds and 14 foot waves, kayaking the Great Lakes was always like the first time, exciting, calming, dangerous, and deadly at times. Lost many friends as the Lakes took them from me, yet I don't blame her, my sweet dear old friend, the Great Lakes.

This reminds me of my first trip up the inside passage on my father's 65 foot tugboat. Near Petersburg there is the furthest south glacier in the world that sheds ice Berg's into the sea. We pulled up along side one that towered over the tug and my brother and a few other crew members climbed onto the berg and we pulled away in the tug to take pictures of them on the iceberg. We got about 10 feet away when the berg suddenly rolled over on its side nearly drowning my brother. This was in 1972 and I took 3 more trips up the passage in the 70s much wiser for the experience.

Tony, a little known fact about the bears, they usually only eat the skin and first 1/4 inch of flesh from a salmon, the area with the highest fat content, to help them build reserves for the winter hibernation. DeHavilland actually did make a successor to the Beaver, the twin Otter. It is still in production in a turbo-prop variant by Viking Air who own all DeHavilland aircraft rights. ( they could start producing Beavers as well ). The twin Otter isn't as popular, at twice the size it is more limited when you get to the smaller inland sites even though it carries twice the cargo and nearly 3 times the passengers.

Jaquie, false about the bears, I fish with them all summer here in Alaska, early in the beginning of the salmon run they eat pretty much the whole fish, as the summer progresses and they have put on a lot of weight, then they get picky because they have so much salmon, the eat the most rich and high fat content, the head, brains, skin and eggs.
