Good games. I have three unsolicited tips for Steven….1) Don’t send damage on turn zero if possible. Look to opt but don’t give your opponent free mulligans. Even if you get in for 1-2 damage, it doesn’t make it worth it. 2) Resist the urge to go all-in on early combos unless you’re certain to get your opponent dead or within 3-4 life. Killing on turn 1 or 2 is super fun (as the Blaze player) but knowing when to hold off will get you more wins in the long run. 3) When you do decide that it’s time to combo, wait until your opponent has done their whole turn. In one game against Dori, you pulled the trigger in response to their first Dawnblade attack when they still had at least 2 cards in hand and you were still at 11 life or something. Let them over-extend before you deliver the 1 - 2 knockout. All the best!

I am playing Blaze for a week now and she looks incredibly strong! The amount of opt leads to an absurd amount of consistency. In almost all games I played I have found my main combo pieces to finish off the game - often ending games as early as turn 1 or 2. I love wizards with all my heart but something certainly has to be banned again because Wildfire is simply absurd in the Blitz format.
