A little more work, but my workaround for not being able to change the flex beats using automation is to just figure out which ones I want, then bounce the track to a sample, and since it should be a perfect loop, just add it back in as a drum kit and you can sequence with like however many of the different beat flex options you want.

Love your videos and the whole ethos and vibe you going at your studio. Do you think the Flex Beat is worth it for Key 61 users? Seems like there could be overlap with the awesome touchstrip effects.

my favourite plugin since released, now on my key61 in stand alone, alongside my s2400 doin drums. special times ahead ! I do wish it had a spinning deck and some motion, basic motion abbility to get the custom graph settings and fine tune from there, that would have been be really cool. i see its called player. maybe we get an editor with this extra ability that doesnt cost. but i see dollar signs there because its kind worth it.

Marlow I’ve found an interesting way of using the analog heat as an analog dynamic EQ with the envelope tuned to the lows and affecting low EQ with negative depth. Can be a lifesaver 😂

It doesn’t show flex beat in my activated plugins page. I already have it updated to current version, connected to WiFi, logged into my inmusic account and I’ve been refreshing the page on my key61 but I don’t see it anywhere :/ how am I supposed to install it?

No way, SP has its own sound which is just warm and dusty, if you can own and MPC and an SP then your laughing all the way.

What kind? At this point I think the mpc can do most of the effects of the SP.

yo Marlow, I just went to NY this past weekend and was getting my MPC LiveII updated with the current version 2.12.2 I think, after, I tried downloading the plugins I paid for and kept getting an error that it couldn't connect to the server issue #8 or something. You ever experience that? couldn't find any answers online either :(

ahh all good man. The update worked no issue on my mpc x, but giving me issues on the mpc live, well see I reached out to sweat water thx bro @@mpchead
