Thanks for the honest review. It seems too good to be true. I'm trying to apply the Flex Seal liquid to fix a recurring leaking from the bathroom from the second floor to the first floor. Nothing has worked. I'm trying to seal the exterior sides of the bathtub and base and the toilet base and corners of the bathroom where water could leak. I've tried reapplying grout and then caulking it, but it didn't work. Would Flex Seal liquid work? How long should I wait before applying the second coat?

Really, how well does it adhere to surfaces? You know, how some products like Caulk peel off like if it was a smooth surface, like if it was a casting medium for a mold.

Awesome, THX! Being as this product hardened when exposed to air. Question: The gallon you used once the lid is cracked and exposed to air how long will the product inside last after resealed? Does the opened and resealed product harden in the can quickly?

Can I use this to seal a slow leak on asphalt shingle roof with skylight?

Drill a hole in a wine bottle, Flex Seal the hole, fill it 3/4 of the way with Diet Soda, glue a Mentos to the bottom of a cork. Push the cork back into the bottle. Turn the bottle upside down. See if the cork or the hole blows first.....

This was before Flex Tape (I think). I used Flex Tape to fix the passenger's side rear view mirror on my car. after being in the sun, it lost it's grip and started to move. So basically all it did was leave a sticky mess on the mirror.

i live in az where the heat is extreme and the wind can be strong , i used flex seal to hold brackets on my concrete wall , 2 yrs later the brackets and the tarp are still up.. , i also had a water leak from my hot water heater not once but twice , having to replace walls sucks so this time i sealed the walls with flex seal liquid , not taking any chances .. only question i have now is how do i remove it from the walls to repaint before i seal it again?

You should paint it on a pieces of different materials (wood, shingle roof, sheet metal, glass) and expose those pieces to the elements for a year and see what happens after a year of abuse!

If you got clear flex seal you can mix in pigments or dyes to get the right color.

what I like to see is the flex tape ... can it hold up to the pressure, can you use it to fix a slashed Tire on the side not on the tread

Nice review, I was a little worried at the start as I seen a link to purchase it in the videos info. Which normally means it's a bias review. But it wasn't!! Also it's Static Electricity That makes all the dust, dirt, lint and everything else stick to it. Try wiping it with a fabric softener sheet/dryer sheet or spray it with Static Guard spray and see if that helps.

how does it hold up when it has standing water on a place you have sealed such as a low spot in a rain gutter where water could sit for weeks before evaporating? Anyone have a long term review as this product is not inexpensive?

I used Flex Seal liquid plus it's tape on a rather large hole on a main drain (cast iron) and it hasn't sprung a leak yet and that was about 2 years ago now. Fingers crossed!!

You you can use it to pick up stuff off the floor. Coat a roller with it and roll it across a rug to pick up hair and stuff that clogs the vacuum

i think the value proposition of the paint can for 15 bucks vs the spray for 12 is a lot better of a deal. i personally like the stuff its handy for around the house for diy handy craftsman like mystelf. i dont use it that often so a can would likely last me all year easy. for me right now though and its the big questing of the day is how well does this work for sound deadening? specifically in a car. im in the process of installing all new gear both front/rear doors and i had my mind set on getting a roll of dynamat for the backwave and key parts of my speaker mount and wanted to find a cheaper solution for the rest of the doors and possibly the back of my explorer under the sub n so on. i know they sell spray on stuff and im betting flex seal is the same for the most part and if so im totally just gonna get a can or 2 of this vs slowing patching in the rest of my car with dynamat cause 10 feet is 15 bucks.
