Quilt artist Ben Venom joins IQM Collections Assistant Jamie Swartz for this edition of Textile Talks. Under the banner of aggressive music, motorcycle culture and skateboarding, Venom makes quilts that look like a punk rock show sounds - abrasive, loud, and fun. Venom’s quilts are usually comprised of reclaimed fabrics including used jeans, workwear, donated band t-shirts and the like.
