/* dia of the pipe = nominal dia of the pipe+(amplitude*cos(trajpar*360* no. of wave)) sd3=31+(7*cos(trajpar*360*130)) The real genius, It's helping me very much. Thanks a lot.

You just blew my mind!! I have been trying to figure out how to do this for some time now. Thank you!

Including me, most of the Creo users are unaware of the use & versatility of relation command due to lack of resources. *Kindly present a series of indepth tutorial videos for basic & advance usage of it .*

thanks so much.your channel very useful for me especial in sheet metal and part I hope you make and add video about cam and expert cam and mold in future if it possible for you. I want to design a tank(for example: with 20 meter diameter and 12 meter height) with standard sheet size.how can design by parametric to filling surface of tank by standard sheet size .i want by chance diameter or height or sheet size fill all of surface of tank.finally one more time thanks

Hi, nice result, but when I read the title I was looking for a solution to use in assemblies. A hose, wire or cable that can move with the assembly. Is this possible? My current closest solution is making a hose out of small sections that are linked together in assembly where each linkage has a sweep of a circle of just a few degrees, stacking these ontop of eachother makes a somewhat flexible assembly that somewhat resambles a hose with a certain stiffness depending on the radius of the circle, but it has limited use.

I can suggest you something. If you make a sweep path inside the assembly by taking reference within the assembly, then the path will change if the reference part moves. Now if you use this path to create the hose, this will act as flexible type. Another technique is, you can make the overall length dimension flexible within the assembly. This way your hose will act as flexible within the assembly.

@@CADxTraining Thanks, I agree that works okay especially when only the thickness of line (hose, wire, etc) is important. However, when I want to simulate how a hose behaves during movement it doesn't suffice as the length of the sweep changes, but the (hydraulic) hose, or wire wouldn't. Is it also possible to keep the length of a sweep constant so that the line will not extend and retract when the assembly changes (or solve this with another trick somehow)? That would solve a lot for me. Ofcourse then there is the problem that the sweep can make bends a hose or wire wouldn't be able to (minimal diameter) but it would suffice for me.

The way I have created this hose, here no. of wave is 60 defined in the relation. Due to this, if the length of the sweep path increased, it will get stretched and if the length is decreased, it will get squeezed. But it will always maintain 60. Which will give you a flexible result.

@@CADxTraining Thanks so much for your answers. Sorry for my confusion. In my example the hose shouldn't be flexible in length, only in bendiness (forgive my lack of proper term). In my application we use stiff hydraulic hoses. If you try to wind them up in a circle for example, you could only manage something like 0.5m in diameter at best. Thusfar we don't model these in our machines, but i'm always trying to get a bit more out of the program. The trajpar parameter only gives 0 to 1, I don't see how I can lock the curve length (of the sweep) with this, but maybe I'm overlooking something. Thank you so much again!

While intersect the two curves I can't make a single curve sir..?? May I know what's the problem

You extrude both the curve individually as surface. Check, whether they intersect each other or not. They should intersect each other to form a 3D curve.
