Option 2 for flexion reflex electrode placement. Option 1 and 3 can be found in the Electrode Placement Tutorials playlist.
An asymmetric biphasic waveform is used. The negative electrode is placed just below the fibular head, marked with the X. The positive electrode is placed over the muscle belly of the anterior tibialis muscle. During stimulation you see direct activation of the dorsiflexors with indirect activation of the hip flexors, as indicated by increased knee flexion.
