I hope you found this tutorial helpful. I was fortunate to have had a brilliant Magician teach me this move in person, and it came to my attention that there weren't any detailed tutorials available online since the Virt's tutorial is no longer available anywhere that I could find. So I have created this video in the hopes that it can help people close the gap between wanting to learn it, and successfully executing it!

Thank you for the tutorial. I do a different one where I throw it behind my back with my left hand, it goes around the right side to the front, right into my left hand on my left side of my body. I like your tutorial cuz it gives me something different to add to my stuff. Lol.

Nice tutorial I've been trying for the past five minutes and have not gotten on my hand. The thing is at least it kinda goes around my back sometimes and doesn't go flying 100 feet behind me.

I’ve looked all over KZfaq this was the only one I’ve found that’s really well But do u know what to do if the card goes behind ur head but the when ur about to catch it it turns to the right?

Is the ring finger and pinky as support necessary? can you do it with just thumb and middle?

You can do it without the support fingers 👍. But some flourishes end up in the support position anyway and overall I find you land the Flicker shot much more frequently with the support fingers.

For under deck dollars I would stick with your standard Bicycle playing cards 👍 👍 👍. Flicker shots work fantastic with them.

Question for you: any particular cards you think look best with this move? New cards have come out since this video like "Slowhands" for instance. Which I have been practicing with non stop. Just wondering what your thoughts were on this topic.

That is a good question man, and one that I hadn't considered much. But I suppose some of the new designs that look trippy while spinning would work nicely. 👍. The move itself looks badass so the design is a bonus.

Slowhands with the Flicker Shot might not be a great combo since you need quick hands for this.🙌

I already get used to flick a card with my ring finger instead of thumb, anyway it still work but the card doesn't go totally in my front but I can still catch it and I guess I need more practice on this.

Honestly you don't need to position your fingers like that. It's makes it difficult for beginners to learn. I've seen other videos where it shows an easier way to hold the card
