Welcome on board , today I am flying from Lyon (France) to Istanbul (Turquey) on Turkish Airlines with an A321 Neo.
This flight is the first leg of my 2022 trip to Hurghada (Egypt) and one of my last flight video.
In this video, I show you my quite "chaotic" flight with Turkish , not about the service but about the fact to record a video onboard with them...
The flight was 2h40 minutes long and was enjoyable.
Flight : TK1810
Plane : TC-LSY
Departure time : 18h35 local time
Arrival time : 22h50 local time
Distance : 1970 kms
Date : Sunday 23 October 2022
Seat : 14A
To record it I used an iPhone 13.
In the next video I show you my 3h layover at Istanbul (full tour of the airport+spotting) and my best flight ever onboard TK business class with an A321 Neo to Hurghada.

The airlines worldwide need a better understanding about our hobby as aviation Enthusiasts and for travellers to allow us to enjoy such videos like this for the love of aviation which help represent and support the airlines policies strongly worldwide!

Actually it depends on what kind of crew you meet during a flight, some flight attendant’s just don’t want people to film sometimes! 🤣

Bonjour, je comprends votre passion pour l'aviation civile, je suis également passionné et de loin par les avions et aéroports et leur exploitation. Ceci dit, effectivement vous n'auriez dû filmer que le décollage et l'atterissage et quelques séquences "inflight" des vues du hublot. Filmer les gens n'est pas toléré dans la mesure où il y'a le droit à l'image, il faut faire attention car vous auriez pu vraiment vous faire "engueuler" encore + que ça. Ceci dit, très bonne vidéo que j'apprécie tout de même....😊

There was no immigration check? And was your boarding pass torn at boarding gate?

I passed the immigration check but i didn’t film it because its forbidden and yes my boarding pass was torn

So what happened in the end? Did they confiscate your phone?

At the end they give me back my phone without deleting my files but they told me to record only my personnal seat and no footage of the passengers

il s'est passé quoi exactement avec l'équipage, d'où tu ne peux pas enregistrer ?? J'avais eux le même problème mais dans Vueling cette fois si en partance de Lyon pour Rome, un steward n'a pas voulu que je filme, il me l'a dit juste en remuant du doigt, je vois pas en quoi ça dérange. L'équipage est paranoia on dirait.

Ils refusaient que je filme autre chose que mon espace personnel (siège, etc) et ont analyser mon téléphone et les extraits vidéos car la compagnie a une close comme quoi il est interdit de filmer les passagers ou les membres d’équipages , pour la Turquie ce n’est pas etonant j’ai déjà eu des remarque similaire l’année dernière par les agents au sol a Istanbul. Dans ton cas ce n’est pas étonnant aussi les compagnies low cost sont très strictes avec le fait de filmer car à mon avis elle le prennent comme une preuve pour discriminer le service de la compagnie et une façon de dissuader les gens de voyager avec eux

Show a little respect and do not film people, will you? Or if you do, at least blur their faces before putting the video on KZfaq. One has every right to want not to be filmed.
