I bought the original Carabao baritone over a year ago and still rate it highly. This cheaper version looks great value but for me paying the extra for all solid wood was well worth it.

Probably the nicest solid top with laminate back and sides I have heard, at a great price point. Congrats and am sure they will be a hit, what a great quality first instrument or addition for a go to pick up and play. Thanks for the demo.

A handsome series for sure. The mango back and sides really suit the lighter coloured spruce top aesthetically. The sound is sweet too which really comes out by your song choices. And a great price for such competent instruments. I especially like the baritone. You made a good decision on that series. If I had one criticism the pick guard does not accurately follow the contour of the body… very noticeable on the concert. Can it also be removed easily?

There is no Concert in the video... The pickguards are not easy to remove. In future batches, we will probably have them arrived detached and fit them as requested or to a handful of models. This is in the distant future though, production and shipping a second batch of these would likely take 7-9 months.

I like the pick guard, I think it makes the uku more unique. But I agree with Jeff that the outline is a bit off and wish it can be adjusted for future production.

I love everything about this but the pickup. I think it should be an optional add-on.

You can get the flight Iris instead. That doesn't come with a pickup

@@SouthernUkuleleStore I actually do have a Flight Iris baritone which I'm pretty happy with (the stock strings being my only complaint). Unfortunately, when I decide to upgrade to a better baritone it won't be a higher end Flight because they are only offered with a pickup. That pushes me to either the Kala Contour series or the new 'Oli line.

Are the pick ups charged with a battery or via a USB as with the Diana model.

No. It is not a sound wave pickup. Just to clarify, the Diana comes in two variations - one with the double C1U and one with a more expensive sound wave system that has effects and is rechargeable.

Thank you for clearing that up, I have a sound wave, which is great ,I love that it's rechargeable, so do these have a battery in the sound hole.
