I love this *but*... I still like your current planes, I mostly think that futuristic/electric planes will be a failure. I know that it might be better for the environment, but we still like the current planes - ZMP

I guess we'll just have to wait and see. So far electric planes have been progressing slowly but surely, atm the tech has only been operating on small Aircrafts. But I think Air NZ ambitions are achievable, just because you like the current Aircrafts that should not warrant nil progress in aviation technology.

The image looks like the Airbus hydrogen turboprop ehh, so far it seems to be a hydrogen narrow body with a mini 350-looking fuselage. Don't worry it's gonna actually look sick xd

The airline has to be willing to spend money on something for that something to be built. And Airbus’ Zero E won’t be ready until 2035

@@nikobelic4251 Airbus is taking more of risk. plus this is the Zero E project why would airbus develop air NZ their own plane. also they haven't ordered the aircraft. they've just said they'll buy the aircraft... in a working state... after airbus has taken a huge risk.

Please do not Air New Zealand, electric planes are bad in which they will come and go. Keep all of your already fantastic planes, and if your replacing the Q300.. Replace it with the Q400.
