Nice trip report. It's great to see an EVA AIR's 747 taxiing in SGN, I flew on their 744 in 2016

+NowGetThere i had been to My Tho and Saigon and Phu Quoc but we took Vietnam Airlines flight 1831 to Phu Quoc and PQC - SGN was flight 1828

Nice. I have not been to My Tho, I will need to check that place out next time. I loved Phu Quoc but I was there in the rainy season so rained for 4 days. Need to go back their in the dry season

+NowGetThere At least you didn't take Vietjet. I was visiting Vietnam and Phu Quoc from the U.S., and our return flight from PQC to SGN was delayed 7+ hours.

oh Vietjet doesn't sound good. I fly with them next week from Danang to Ho Chi Minh City. hope they are not delayed. I am on holidays but can't imagine there is much to do at Danang airport.

+NowGetThere is Jetstar Pacific and Jetstar Asia still owned by Qantas or another airline

Yep Jetstar Pacific and Asia are still part owned by Qantas. Qantas owns 30% of Jetstar Pacific and Vietnam Airlines owns the other 70%. Qantas owns 49% of Jetstar Asia and the other 51% is owned by Westbrook Investments based in Singapore.

damn, jetstar pacific take the plane from Myanmar Airlines but they forgot to repaint it :)So funny I've seen this plane too :)
