Here is my latest trip report. Singapore Airlines invited me to try out their new Airbus A350 between Sydney and Singapore. What a fun experience it was and I absolutely LOVED the inflight product, the seat and food in particular. Here's a detailed vlog about this. Tell me in the comments what you think.

This is the A350 regional configuration. with regional business class seats (the rows are staggered). It;'s an upgrade to the older 2-2-2 in the A330s but still inferior compared to the A359/A388/77W long haul business class (all are fitted with the same seats)

Oh wow good point - I had no idea there were two different products for the A350 on Singapore Airlines. Must try the other one then too

The regional product is still very comfortable in business. While it’s narrower, I found the seat to be more adjustable for lounging than that wider fold down bed.

You didn't describe the flat bed seating arrangement? I didn't enjoy it because the passenger is not really in control like on Cathay Pacific or others where the seat itself just flattens into a bed. Here you had to get out, you (or the crew) fold down the seat back, etc., etc. So a mid-sleep snack or decision to read or watch TV was difficult and awkward.
