I'm an airplane pilot so I ABSOLUTELY LOVE seeing the world (any and all of it) from the air, but this is ONE TIME I have to say I was more impressed seeing MV from the ground than I was from the air. (Damn! Them things is HUGE!)

I don't no why i get emotional looking at billions of years of the structures and erosional beauty of earth's features that will be completely different in probably less thn than 50 thousand years time, what a beautiful planet we live on I'd love to no if there is and i reckon there are others out there are they as beautiful and are there beings more or less tech savy as us.

Platero Begay I know your comment is from 3 years ago, but I was wondering if your Grandparents still live out there & also wanted to know what it's like living out there in the desert? If you don't mind me asking? It's so scenic & have seen it in a lot of movies. I've always wondered what it's like. I appreciate any insight you can give. Thanks. C. Thatcher San Antonio, TX

What are you flying? We were at Gouldings last may 2013 but only to stop in long enough to see John Wayne's cabin. I saw the air strip, but we were on our motorcycles. Just East of Gouldings and a couple of miles or so closer to Mexican Hat is the famous view of Forest Gump where he quit running and said he was tired and wanted to go home. I have several videos of that area. Just look for my channel here on YOU TUBE...HondaGoldwingGL1800. Enjoyed the ride.
