Gas sulfur dioksida dan debu dari gunung berapi tu merbahaya untuk enjin kapal terbang.

@@markzuccberg8926 Untuk mesin pesawat, yang lebih berbahaya adalah debu dan partikel abu letusan dibanding gas sulfur karena abu letusan bisa membinasakan mesin dalam waktu sangat cepat jika terhisap masuk mesin. Makanya itu pula jika terjadi hujan abu gunung berapi, bisa dipastikan mesin kendaraan yang tidak memiliki filter udara akan lebih cepat rusak jika terlalu banyak menelan abu dan kendaraan yang mempunyai filter udara harus cepat-cepat ganti filter jika tidak mau kerja mesinnya terganggu.

@@aig1111 But the air is contaminated by SO2. It's gas. You can't see them but they can harm you. Just try to prevent getting sick by using mask and drink water more often. Not being paranoid, but we have to pay attention on our health

@@aig1111 The ash cloud floats at 15.000 feet altitude, the exact same altitude with operating altitude of commerical jet planes. So even if its not make landfall in Sabah and Serawak it would effectively shut down the airports in there.
