It wouldn't be 2024 without plastering 'AI' into your branding/marketing! 😂. Software looks great. I've done a full circle on using an iPad with my LM. It's just simple and less hassle than using a PC. Thanks for covering Jay!

Will the software updates be available for the earlier models of the Mevo+? e6 upgrade path?

Sorry I was responding to so many comments that was on the wrong video. Yes these software updates are for all Mevo+ users and of course some data like impact or Pro Package data only for those users with those add ons. I am not sure what you are referencing on the E6 upgrade path. If you mean how to add those courses, you would contact E6 for the pricing to add each on or bundle them might be an options.

great stuff!! So, i just purchased the 2023 Mevo + version. Does this new data interface including badger AI work on that unit as well or are these parameters and GUI only available on the Limited edition? Im assuming this is software driven but maybe something in the Limited that is required? Thx

Yes badger is going to be a software update coming to all Mevo+ units. I will dive into this more in a full in-depth review back in the GSV studio.

You mentioned that St Andrews Old course is on the list of courses but this is not currently on E6's library roster so wondering how that works. All the other courses are on E6 already

I feel like I have what is the most simple newbie question ever involving radar launch monitors. But I don’t know the answer! I have a basic Mevo and have been considering an upgrade to the + for several seasons. How does ball choice effect the numbers reported by the device? I’ve demo’ed the Mevo+ indoors with RCT balls, but I want to use the unit outdoors at the range at least half the time. There I’m stuck with range balls. Does the unit just apply an algorithm for range balls or is there something else I’m missing? Can I get reliable results outdoors at a public range?

The RCT and metal dot are only used indoors to help read spin in a short distance. The balls outdoors are tracked long flight so they see the curve and have more time to read backspin. The unit will perform really well outdoors since it can see the flight of the ball.

@@GolfSimulatorVideos I’m not worried about whether it’ll perform well outdoors. I know it will. I’m worried whether it performs differently with top-drawer balls (Titleist RCT) versus poor balls (hard, compressed, old range balls). I can’t use Pro V1 balls at the driving range!

@@ppierpontThey have a selection for range balls so it takes that into account. Keep in mind the range balls will perform as range balls just like you were not using the Mevo+. So if you were for instance lasering a flag and using low quality range balls you should not expect the same from a Pro V1. But, in saying that it does have a selection to help.

That is an AI tool that is able to analyze your session in real-time. I had the opportunity to test it. It's a groundbreaking tool.

Yeah I will do a full in-depth review on that. I wish he would have covered it more. Basically you can ask Badger things like how to draw the golf ball or fix your slice, etc.

Is the camera any better the the previous mevo to track the ball better?

Same camera as before. However, the radar is what primarily tracks the ball.
