Really fun to figure out all the work arounds to make this possible. I think this uses all five synths channels and about 8 of the 9 drum slots lol. #aphextwin #flim #korg

From someone who’s been through all the electribes and many hardware pieces… I salute you infinitely

As someone dipping their toes into older gear/samplers, can I ask what you liked and disliked about the electribes? Sound, workflow, etc. I would very much appreciate it!
@stalwartzero70016 ай бұрын
@@afk_hesh I never really had any dislikes but I will say the older gen blue/silver and red/silver were the ones I used the most and kept the longest. All gear is its own little adventure that inspires different moments, grooves, and melodies. Make what you love and never worry about whether your friends think it’s cool. I will say I always liked pairing all of them with 4 tracks or reel to reels.

@@stalwartzero7001 yeah that's been my experience going from an in the box workflow to a more hardware based one, I love the way you put that! I started out with a couple volca's and now I've got a circuit bent tr-626 and a new ep-133 KO II! I've always wanted an SP cause I loved their sound but I came across a sampletrack 224 and some electribes in my area and wanted to see if potentially going with one of them would lend a more unique sound/workflow but still give me some of that analog flavor I was looking for

@@afk_hesh If you can find an EMX (the one in this video) for a good deal. I i would go for that. it’s a good center piece to a dawless set up if you were looking towards that. I have some other vids where I use in a massive midi chain. should pair well if the other gear you mentioned too.

wow, this is incredibly well executed. you really made it your own! the electribe es1 was my first drum machine, bought it as a reaction to hearing come to daddy ep, along w/us and them by goddlesh and 60 second wipeout by atari teenage riot. this was the 2nd AT track i'd ever heard, listened to the EP in order, was mindblown when it shifted from ctd pappy mix to this euphoria. would love to some day have another ES1 and eventually mess w/these newer X models, they've always intrigued me. i did however, build a eurorack system utilizing vco's w/vacuum tubes; on which i did this eurorack cover of "ageispolis" you might dig. after recreating it in my own fashion i can only imagine how much work was put into programming and executing this. i see no midi cable so i'm assuming it had to have been done slowly and tediously. great work, in any event 🔥🎛️🔥 kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bbijdsihtpy-oZc.htmlsi=4m0DI9bboh3ftlpL

Not bad Electribe pocket sound cover. Richard James himself said its good to sometimes make music with simple tools rather than always expecting to have all the tools available your used to

Was this made using the presets that were already on the electribe or did you load any onto it?
@sureleyyy6 ай бұрын
all presets or squ/sine waves edited to create the sound I want. the red model (SX) lets you load in samples but this one does not.
