In the right deck these two work very well together for some massive damage!

I agree with you, and I play minimal removal in my decks as well. Most removal is inefficient, esp compared to creatures who also can remove things themselves.

Isn't magic much more interesting without a stupid amount of dedicated removal and counters? Where wars are won on the battlefield? I think so.

Good build, quite aggressive. Ironically I was working on something similar to this, using Smuggler's and Calamity, to ensure instant win against control decks. Thx for the Tumble idea, works pretty well.

@@HexMTG Unfortunately I was unable to build it like you did because of the lack of rares and mythics but I added a few extra removals. It doesn’t have the same luck as yours but it’s still super fun when everything comes together.

Back to the (tumble)weeds! Morbid Opportunist got a mYtHiC treatment in the OTJ Special Guests bonus list. The art is much nicer, but it's definitely not worth a wildcard. Fun fact: one of the previous Special Guest cards, Victimize, will be coming to Arena as an uncommon in Modern Horizons 3. On the SG list it was a mythic, of course. Of course.

What's funny is the fling was my plan B but ended up being a definite plan A! Brawler + "Insert Big Creature" + Fling is ridiculous at the moment
