Barb Sullivan if you're in the VDS Facebook group I posted a spray protectant I used on the untreated JL. You could use it on the BN tio.

Ashley Jones We used to be members at 24 Hr Fitness now Genesis - but I have a free gym through my work so its hard to justify paying for a gym I’d only use on the weekends! Of course, that may be what I need to do if I can’t get a good thing down with 80 day obsession!

I just ordered my first personal wide second hand. I’m so excited for it to arrive. Where do you recommend shopping for personal wide inserts? I don’t think printing my own will work for me. I’d just like to buy the printed version.

Hmm I haven't bought printed inserts in years now - if you do want to try my printables, I do have two authorized printers that can print for you. Angel is at Ohdarlinge5@gmail.com; or on IG @OhDarling_E; Renee is rsrobinson66@hotmail.com or IG @reneesplannerplace. Printing is pretty simple though - I have a blog post/video on how-to print if you're at all wanting to look into that! sierramplans.com/printing-your-own-inserts. :)

This is gorgeous!! I'm considering switching to rings from my TN but was curious...what do you do with the inserts when you take them out? Do you keep them or toss them?

Hi I am new to the planner community , I have been going back and forth and while i searched online i keep getting different answers. Ok I have fallen in love with personal wide size, started in personal and needed just that bit of extra space. What is the difference between personal wide, A6 and B6 please. Also i just purchased a personal planner and wanted to see if personal wide inserts will fit into a personal cover?

Hi, I know it's a while you posted, but in case you still wonder, A6 is the smallest, which is 4,5x5,8 inches. Personal wide inserts will not fin in a personal planner. Personal wide inserts are 4,75x6,75 inches, and B6 is a bit taller, but slimmer in size, like 4,9x6,9 inches. Some personal wide binders will fit b6 inserts, but personally I love personal wide. I think the extra space is just perfect. I have a personal planner too, but can't go back. Sorry if this is way too late, haha :P

I have nothing to compare it to since this is my first VDS. I'm happy with the stiffener b/c I don't like floppiness and prefer more structure! So win win :) I think Jen from @jenxoplans on Instagram has a Tortora but no stiffener... maybe she has a different perspective on it!

Hi I love your channel, i found you in the Facebook group. I love planning and I also been planning since middle school. I’m going to school to be a paralegal!! Do you like your job? If it’s not too personal to ask, I just started school so I love meeting people in the law field. Your videos make it more difficult for me to wait for my customized planner lol 😆

judith avina Ohh good paralegals are hard to find! Love my job. Didn’t care for law firm life, but I know not all law firms are the same. I’m much happier now that I’m in-house b/c I’m still doing litigation, but without the billable hour! I think it’s important to start out your paralegal career at a firm... personally and based on what happens at our company, we typically don’t hire paralegals unless they have law firm experience!

Yea I wasn’t sure if I was going to like going into law so I decided to start as a paralegal if I like it enough I will go to law school. I’m a single mom so it is difficult for me so I didn’t want to get overwhelmed. Thank you for replying I enjoy your videos because your planners are gorgeous but super functional and that’s what I like. Thanks 😘

I change up planners like i change hand bags or wallets, why do we have to just use one or two planners, then again i have 3 cars and switch them around depending on the mood.. enjoy beautiful planner, i didn't know about this brand, checking it out!

blanca millan Same here! That’s why its hard when you like Personal Wide, b/c there are not as many options for shops to purchase them through. And it’s hard when the inserts are different sizes to go into a personal wide then back into personal size!

I love your channel and I think I've watched all of your videos at least 3 times. I just started with the personal size in a Gillio Compagna Medium but the rings are too small. I was looking to custom order a Van Der Spek and now I am questioning whether to go personal wide. I believe you said you have 30mm rings and yours looks full. Are you content with your ring size? Also, I was curious how it fits in your purse as opposed to a personal size planner. It seems like it may be similar to the Mia Cara. Thanks!

I have 30mm rings in all my planners - Gillio and VDS. This particular VDS (with the longer strap) allows even more inserts! Of course, with the personal wide you also get the extra width on the insert as well :) It definitely is more bulky and yes, I'd say is similar to the Mia Cara, if not just a bit more bulky. I think I've posted 'What's in my bag' pics on my Instagram both from a couple months ago (when I was in a Mia Cara Personal Size) and since getting this VDS if you'd like to compare

I love the wide personal size but I'd hate to sell off all my personal size planners. What do you do with the old planner pages? Do you store them or throw them?

It was refreshing to sell the personal size planners I wasn't using. I did keep two though! I store them in containers I got from the container store!

You are so good at making decisions and selling what does not serve you. I keep trying new sizes but I do not get rid of the old sizes and try to find purposes for them instead of using what works. I have rings, strings, and bound planners. All the Hobonichis. I do love a Personal ring planner and I have been eyeing those A6 rings as everyone seems so happy in them. Now I am looking at your Personal Wide. I should try P-W inserts in my Foxy Personal Rings as it seems pretty wide and perhaps I could test it. So many options--I am not good with too many options! I did use an A5 for One Book July with Day Designer and other inserts and it worked beautifully. I think being a one girl planner would be a wise thing but I do want a portable EDC and I sure love me some of that Hobonichi paper and layout! UGH! @kellys4psplannerspaperpenspups
