Whoever told you to not be so chatty just needs to find another colourist to watch that is less so. You always put a lot of thought into what you say and are honest with your thoughts, which I love. Thank you K! I just ordered from Book Depository….I like this cover better than the US version and usually, the UK bindings are sewn compared to solely glued US versions. That is something to include in any spoken flip through/review if possible: binding info. Basford’s US printed books have been so awful about falling apart that I replaced all of my books with UK versions and these days, I’m pretty teluctant to buy any book with only glue for binding…I really wish some of these publishers would figure this out!

I am so excited about this book!!! This will become a favourite of mine. Right up there with Circle of Life. Whoopee!!!!!

It's a lovely book. I really like her art. Thanks for the flip. It is probably a bit too detailed for me. My eyes are not as good as they were and my new glasses are a disaster so far. I found, by accident, that Fabre Castel Pit pens are really beautiful in Circle of Life. If you have some, try them in either book. The paper loved them and I adore the slightly muted look of the colours when dry. I just watched Debbie flipping Kirby's new book from The Works and then came straight to you. As for making peace with spiders, I've been cleaning out our barn today. So far I've not come across any because I'm not in the corners or edges yet. But oh boy they will be there, waiting for me! I'm anal about getting them in the car. So the first tip load for tomorrow is spending the night in the open air in the hope that any hidden unwelcome visitors might shuffle off before I put them into my vehicle.

If someone wants you to speed up they can speed up the video. It's your channel, your video! I like spending time with you and I want to see the pages and hear your opnion and your reaction to the artwork.

Nice book ....art work is really nice. A bit too intricate & busy, though, that at times it takes away from the focal point of the pic.

I just pre-ordered my copy from Amazon USA. The front cover is different from the cover on yours, though. It comes out here in May.

I am so jealous of y'all in the UK! I pre-ordered this book from Book Depository so I don't have to wait until May for US version. I like this cover better too. I def am excited and really like some of the images... but am not crazy or are some of the elements exactly the same ones in Circle of Life? Like the swan and the cow skulls? Ps I watch your flip through to hear what you think about it, so don't fret about talking too much! There's always people, like me, who do silent flips for anyone who wants it faster.
