I bought mines from Amazon and when I received it my mind went crazy with so many coloring ideas because some of the mandalas stood out to me. Before I bought the book I first was reading through the various reviews from others who already had theirs and the majority of them loved the book. In fact many gave the book 5 stars because of the quality. When I started coloring my first mandala I was blown away. I use markers (Crayola Supertips) and not one single marker bled through the paper. I was amazed. I'm gonna buy volume 1 and then buy the Travelling Mandalas. I have purchased other mandala coloring books but none of them are nothing like these Colorit books. I love that it's perforated and the pages are thick and that it's a spiral bounded hardback book. Other mandala coloring books are paperback and not perforated (I have a few that are) and taking a mandala out from those books are a challenge. I love my colorit mandalas vol 2 and it's a must buy.

So sorry for the migraine. I get them too. Some helpful things I learned from the Migraine Self Help Group and a nurse friend that hope will be of benefit to you. 1) carry water everywhere, an insulated water bottle that keeps your ice for hours is best. A nurse told me, as I was in the ER for a severe migraine, that often hooking a sufferer up to saline while they had to wait for a doctor significantly improved light and sound sensitivity, and reduced pain. Sipping cold also helps with inflammation. If you are deep into a migraine, drink peppermint tea. In Canada we have a brand called President’s Choice (ironic as we have a Prime Minister) that has my favourite tea “Feeling Soothed” that has peppermint, ginger and fennel. Peppermint helps with serotonin and inflammation, ginger is great for the nausea, and fennel adds sweetness so it tastes delicious. I’ll snail mail you some if you are interested. The heat from tea gets the blood away from your head and down into your corp. If there is going to be a weather change or a stressful event ( good event or bad even = stress) GUZZLE fluids. 2) Mentos are your friends. Keep them in your purse at all times. The act of chewing triggers a release of tension in your neck and scalp. Gum could also work but aspartame’s a trigger for many sufferers like myself. Low blood sugar could also be a trigger so the sugar in Mentos is a good thing if you have been too busy to eat small frequent snacks/meals. And again the mint...... 3) stick some damp socks in the microwave or the dryer to get them warm and grab some frozen peas from the freezer. Sit in a recliner or lay down while propped up a bit on pillows with the peas wrapped in a towel behind your neck to reduce blood flow to your head and put on the warm socks to get blood flow as far from your head as possible. 4). Feel one coming on but isn’t horrible yet, take a bath with some drops of spearmint (I just like its scent better than peppermint) essential oil. If no time for a bath, shower with mint scented shower gel. If out and about, then mint scented moisturizer lotion. Sometimes I just put a Kleenex with some essential oil drops on it tucked under a bra strap. This a trick I learned while studying for exams. Started doing it as the scent mint helps with focus (fact learned in physiological psychology class) and experienced reduction of symptoms. Discussed it with others and many had found the same results in their lives. Much as we love our friends and family holidays are a huge source of stress so I hope you get the time to look after yourself.

You definitely need time for yourself to relax and unwind. I always try to make time, at least 1 hour of the day, to color, diamond paint or read. It is very important to destress. xoxo 💜
