Sometimes Flip had a segment called "The Church Of What's Happening Now". Just what will the collection plate bring in this episode?

At the age of 56, I'm fortunate to be old enough to have watched the "Flip Wilson Show", in all it's glory, when it actually aired. All of his shows were extremely well written, positively hilarious......and PROFANITY FREE. In this day & age, good luck in finding a "prime-time" program that has those same qualities. The Flip Wilson and Carol Burnett shows were the best comedy variety shows on television. Both were fresh, hilarious, and, I agree, profanity free. It's amazing how funny the comics of the 70's and before were without profanity. Sometimes just their facial expressions and body language was hysterical without them ever saying a word.
