I keep seeing these rear shock swaps on XV750s but I haven't seen a single assessment (or even brief comment/claim) of whatever improvements achieved. Is it only done on XV750s whose monoshock has failed? Mine seems to be working ok including the air assistance & damping adjuster. Not that I ever thought the XV750 rear end was good, even when I bought it new (1982). But seems a potential backward step to swap to non-adjustable. Unless they just ride great as-is. If so, surely all these guys who've gone to the bother to swap would be all too keen to tell us how much better?

Views suck on it, not many people are interested in the XV build but I think it can bring potential to the channel!

@@Flipzco greetings! Love this build. I’m doing one as well. Any chance you could tell me where you got your throttle cable? I put clip-ons onto my forks so my OEM cable is too long now. Looking for the length and brand you went with. I’m thinking I’ll need a 30” cable + or - a few”. Thanks!

Wow!! Didn’t know there was a company making the mount for the rear shock! Might be a better option for me vs the Hagon shock

Rebound, Condition, and possibly mileage if its off a parts bike. eBay is the place to buy.
