Flite Fest West was easily one of the greatest times I've ever had. My brother and nephew came with and had a blast. Everyone in the FliteTest crew was absolutely incredible and treated us like we were old friends. Thank you all so much again and a huge thank you to the volunteers who spent long hours and hot days in the sun helping everyone out.

Since 2011, this hobby has certainly changed a lot. It could be interesting to try, for exemple, a FT-22 with an Emax RS2306 White Edition 2750KV and a suitable propeller.

Daniel Kezar welp I'm not interested in getting into a KZfaq argument but I will state why united was at fault. The man purchased a service, the overbooking was uniteds fault so they should fix it. The protocol to fix it is to offer passengers money as compensation to miss their flight. The amount they are supposed to go up to is $1300. They chose to stop at $800 and randomly select the passengers, one of whom was a doctor and needed to get back to critical patients, so he had a reason to stay. Instead of picking someone els (or upping the $) they decided to use force and assault the man who has now had to get plastic surgery to fix the damage they did to his face (I think his jaw was actually broken but don't quote me). They violated the mans basic rights, really just the save a few hundred dollars/time. Ethically that is wrong

Ultimately while I agree United was wrong, so was he. Read your ticket and supporting documentation. They can kick you off for any number of reasons, too drunk, too large to fit in your seat, (customer of size is the euphemism used for that), even for something like you smell bad. It is their plane, and the law and the contract you enter by purchasing a ticket says they can kick one or ALL the passengers off. Second of all, Failing to comply with the directions of a flight attendant in the U.S. can result in (correct me if I am wrong) a felony prosecution. Not saying he deserved a beat down at all, far from it, but Mike Rowe said it best, "I don't want to fly in a thin metal tube at 35 thousand feet with a bunch of folks that don't feel like following the rules". Ultimately United will pay the price for their arrogance and poor decisions. I have not flown them for over a decade due to their attitude. Maybe this will be a wake up call. But I doubt it.

A) I'm sure the TSA LOVED the quad on the back'o'the backpack. B) I could take steps to immediately eliminate necessity for the Transportation Stupidity Administration, but I wouldn't be very popular.. for awhile! Tyler, I'd be on the lookout if they make a Flite Fest South and try to get your parents to bring you. After all it's an amazing event where you can make new friends, learn about all kinds of technology, build things together and have fun. Most families I have talked to loved the events even though the wife's or kids are not into RC. It's always better than just sitting in front of a PC, isn't it? ;)
