I have this exact plane, it flies so easy and wonderful. Horizon Hobbies and E-flite are one of the best RC companies and publishers ever. Awesome part-support, service and products, most of my planes and heli's are from them. The P51-D, the Blade mCPx, the Supercub LP etc.....all great products. Never stop, brothers.

So two days ago I bought an RC helicopter from a local radio shack out of an impulse buy while messing with it I was watching videos on others which led me to your guys's channel and I wanted to let you all know that your videos are awesome! Really have me interested in R/C flying hobby and I am really looking forward to advancing. I really want to do FPV flying! Anyway I just wanted to let you all know how much of an awesome job you all do and you just made a huge fan with in two days out of an impulse buyer, haha and hopefully soon an FPV flyer like yourselves. Again thank you all for your videos, keep it up!

This has been such a valuable series to me! Very well done and great topics. This video helped me tremendously, as I had been having all kinds of problems learning to fly. Your practice exercises were exactly what I needed, I've gone through 4 1C batteries just doing the take off and landing practice. I'm now up to making some turns and not smashing my plane into a million pieces! Really happy with my incremental progress! Thanks guys!!

Nice beginner series! I'm not a beginner any more but do enjoy these vids. I also like how Josh holds his thumb on the throttle as a safety meassure. I do that as well, all the time when a battery is connected but I do not want to fly. That is a really good habit to have.

This helped ALOT with my C17 especially when landing I had trouble few rounds but did it the third! It’s just on hard surfaces the wheels get damaged but it works perfectly 10/10 (note:I fixed the wheels to a type that won’t get damaged on landing)

I started out a couple years ago with a guy that was way farther into this hobby than I was. I ended up spending a bunch of money and the fun went out. I just got back into it and have splurged on a spektrum dx6. I bought two radian gliders a big one and a small one. I'm looking forward to some nice slow flights and lots of fun. Maybe one day a sweet Stryker but slow for now. Great videos

I love this series and love this channel if i had this when i got into the hobby i wouldn't have killed half my planes.I was wondering though if in the future say after you finished with beginner planes you might do a Quad/tricopter series like this i have wanted to get started flying quads for a bit now and it's a little confusing the motors, props weights even flight patterns as different copters fly different ways. it would be awesome if you would do a series just like this for beginner copter enthusiasts.

JackDaniels2535 I have Flown Quadcopters for 2 years. It very easy if you have lots of RC Plane experience. One fruit of advice when setting it up. Do not reset your flight board. It will wipe it and you will have to get a new one. I learned that the hard way, thankfully the person I bought the parts and drone off of knew it might happen and had spare for one for me. I use Cleanflight for the program

I definitively like this beginner series. I'm searching for a new hobby. Gaming and sitting at a PC makes me dull. This series is perfect for me. Even though I don't know yet if I like to build and fly RC-planes or quadcopters, some categories (as R/C) are similar. I think I'll watch the whole series and begin to build a foam-model with my son over the winter. I'm from germany and it's sad that I can't find such a detailed guide in german. But to understand you is no problem once one understands the R/C - specific words (german words in brackets): - aileron (Quer-Ruder) - elevator (Höhen-Ruder) - rudder (Seiten-Ruder) - BEC etc

Awesome advice. 70% of what you're talking about I had NO IDEA. will next time. Not having that idea cost me m first plane ... simply flying away ... So now I taxi down the hall at home and back towards me. Reverse navigation is not easy if you've never even though about it. This series is a must for any noobs like me ... before we kill off planes. That's just no fun at all.

I really respect what you guyz stand for!! I have small problem with video. Someone just like you told me to start with a 3 channel plane and put the rudder on the right. I am self taught. When I finally got with a person to help me, he pointed out that the rudder on the right stick was developing a very bad habit. Since first impressions are the most important and imprinting, I have messed my self up.. Now that I am more experienced I have to force myself to use the rudder on the left stick. BAD. I really wish I had started from day one that way. Now it is soo difficult to use the rudder especially when landing in a cross wind.. My opinion

Modus Operandi - I fly mode1 throttle and ailerons r/h side elevator rudder on the left. I can fly mode 2, thoughtfully not automatic like mode one. I learnt to fly arse about face - aileron and elevator (primary controls) on the left and throttle rudder on the right(mode1 transmitter with arse about controls) - reason being the guy that taught me to fly was a full size aviator, made sense to him. I prefer mode 1 - from the thousands of hours flying slope soarers with two channel two stick radios - pre pistol grip car radios.

Yeah, it's a really bad habit. I started with a 3 channel heli, then moved up to a 4 channel quad... I kept on using the right stick for rudder, and it did aileron moves... Now though, I can fly with rudder in both places, because I had to get used to it...
