My best friend was grasshopper in a jr. version of this. He’s so adorably tone-deaf I had to help him with the choreography and the notes. I learned this song by heart 10000 times over. I love it so much because it manages to calm me down and cheer me up simultaneously, which is something I need more than I care to admit

Don't get me wrong, I do like the Centipede's character in the musical... but in the book and movie he was a loud, funny, disaster-causing character who James was maybe the closest to out of everyone. So why did they change him to being a grumpy person who dislikes James for the musical? Especially as every other character was really just the same as they were in the book and the movie?

I knew that Christian did James and the Giant Peach as the grasshopper, but he sounds so different I love it, his so great at changing his voice.

Had this on repeat for the last 4 hours.....

If nbc (or abc) make a live musical of this musical, that would make my day.
