The Flood are defenitly in my Top 3 for my most favorite fictional pathogens. The fact that they can turn the dead bodies littered across a battlefield into undead to fight for their cause is what makes them so thrilling to fight.

Looking at how that 1st hog got destroyed made me remember of all the times I've tried recreating a post-battle scene on that same beach. With weapons and vehicles discarded throughout the map. There's only so much a creator can do to insinuate a battle without mods or AIs and a couple of flipped vehicles. 😔

They needed way more boots on the ground and way more heavy weapons. And air strikes. F the flood dude. So rough.

Aww man... Remember when Halo was this good? I played many Halo Custom Edition scenarios just like this back in the day. Halo lost its touch when the Flood stopped showing up in the games, to be honest it started becoming a sappy drama series instead of the great action horror it started out as.

I used to live for battles like these back when I was playing Halo all the time

All my years playing Halo 3 since 360 days, I never noticed the marines snapping their necks before they turn to a combat form

This is pretty much all I’ve ever wanted for that halo 3 map tbh. PvP was fun on it but always seemed like using the gates and walls to hold off a horde (the flood) of some kind would be fun.

Ya know, when I was a Kid playing through H2 I lost my marbles after getting up too close to a Marine-Flood Type (Don't argue with me about the Graphics because Kid Me felt that shit in 4K Ultra HDD okay) and it put me off of ALL flood missions (Even H1) and I had a complete and total Irrational Fear of zombies until I was a Teenager xD. Just look at how Visceral it looks when the parasites take over the Marine Hosts in Halo 3. At my Big age of 24 I have been desperate for another Halo Game but from a Marines Perspective, H3 ODST Style, focusing on alot of vs. Flood content. I have toyed with the concept in my head for the past few years and with todays Graphics Lordt Have Mercy. It would be beautifully twisted.
