Flooding Devastates West Virginia

At least 20 people were killed in flooding in West Virginia on Thursday and Friday, after torrential downpours hit the state. Employees and customers were stranded in the Crossings Mall shopping plaza in Elkview overnight, after the access road to the shopping center was washed away by high water on Thursday.

they were helped every church was giving away tons of supplies and i got a bunch a free stuff from churches because of the flood

So, if you use a little reason, look at the flooding in maps... you'll see how these 'disasters' are built in... Pretty much every city in the US was built mindlessly, without forethought, or care for the future, and to fail. The reason we have these massive floods is because we built all of our cities in flood basins... AAAALLLLL of them.. there are secondary issues, like paving everything and soil loss. Once upon a time the earth's soil was like a sponge, but, we've long destroyed that pretty much everywhere as well.. these 'disasters' are only so because humans build cities in the worst possible places... its everywhere in the US. it'll get worse because out 'forefathers' couldn't have given a shit. hmm.. sounds exactly like it is now.. go figure..

Cities where built based on transportation of the era . People had to get water from wells and rivers. Goods was shipped by water ways. Timber was moved by water ways. Even the first trains required water for steam . So maybe they where not all that stupid .

Y'all saying it's God's judgement should take off your religion colored glasses and realize that God is not going to wave a magic wand and make it all go away... Chances are if he/she did we would just keep trashing mother earth anyway! What a waste of his time that would be!!! I'm sure he/she would agree...
