The orange and white jack I believe like I bought new from Harbor Freight probably in the 80's. Just got it out today after no use for 25 yrs. It only lifted about 3/4 of range so I gave it a good cleaning to add oil. I pulled the large shaft just in front of pump handle which allows main lift assy. to move forward gaining better access to the rubber fill plug. Using a syringe I was able to easily add hydraulic jack oil which it did need 3-4 oz.? plus pumped handle slowly in the lowering position to maybe bleed air out. Oiled wheels and lift points and it now works like brand new. I do have the cross bar made for it too. I've read that the orange & white floor jacks we're great jacks. Regardless of it is 2 or 3 ton, being able to just add a little oil that had leaked out over decades and have it work like brand new makes it a great floor jack in my opinion. Thanks for the great video.

Looks like a good idea to me. I have a lot of hockey pucks, so I can certainly utilize one to use on my 2 floor jacks. Thanks for the idea. :)

Usually in the show car world, polished chrome frames, not for me but cool to look at!

Hey Ray -- utilizing the pilot hole is a great idea -- the possible applications are limitless. When you banged your head, something good happened. I think I'll bang my head. I want to catch up to you. See Ya !

Those might work in some cases on your hoist, there might be a 3/4 to 7/8 hole in the end plate that goes under the frame. Like you said, endless uses. I always pick one up at the thrift store when I see one. The NHL freezes pucks for game use, little hockey trivia there Eh.
