Great interview. - I was concerned that Floor falling sick was as a result of being so busy with promotion for her song fire and at the same time rushing around to perform with Nightwish a day or two later. Nice to hear that Nightwish is still very much her priority and her solo career is the cherry on the cake. What a lovely grounded and humble lady.

That's a good point she has been burnt out before and she has a festival coming up with Nightwish and then herself solo on the same night. Her love for the fans she can get pretty stubborn even at the risk of effecting her health.

Great interview! It's great that you let Floor to freely speak when she had no problems telling about things. Way too many interviewers have pre-made questions and hurry to next question instead of truly listening what the other party responds.

I was there!! It was so incredible, and I was right above stage right in balcony. Could see the sweat on Emppu's lip and Floors forehead - felt like I was right on stage with them. Phenomenal, unforgettable night.

Thank you for posting this interview! Good questions and nice pace of the interview. And... although I should have known the answer, I am very happy Floor confirms she is not considering leaving Nightwish. Hopefully I will see Nightwish live in Amsterdam in November, if Covid does not spoil it.

At this point I think Nightwish should be considered a Supergroup. Everyone has their own side projects, however they all seem to have their primary commitment to the Nightwish enterprise.

Floor said the same on Dutch TV half a year ago. She loves Nightwish and will do Nightwish for as long as she physically can. Her solo career is only second.

Floor is either an outstanding actor or is a truly kind and genuine person. Her singing is otherworldly while her humanity is down to earth. I wonder what is harder for her: Nightwish and Solo balance or living in Asgard and Sweden at the same time.

Floor is very much indeed a very nice person, no doubt! She is sincere and has both feet firmly on the ground. What you see is what you get, so nothing is fake on her. So yes, she truly is a kind and genuine person. It's all about what you yourself want to see, (when you are sincere and honest) but of course you know that best yourself.....Just enjoy what you see and hear and everything will be fine!

Finding the balance is the key. However, it's probably also so that Floor's solo success will also bring new fans to Nightwish, even people who don't yet know that they like metal.

I am 66 years old and have discovered Floor&Nightwish a few weeks ago. I thought there was nothing new for me in music. But this band blew me into a parallel world. Now I am lost in this new universum and I love it. My favorite songs are Shoemaker and Song of Myself: the music, the lyrics, the performance are the next, the next, the next and above level. Tuomas and Floor are not from this world.🙏🙏🙏

The greatest thing Floor can do when singing music outside of the realm of Nightwish and Metal is to utilize not just her vocal abilities but her internal empath abilities because people today specialy kids today are so emotional and with dealing with the threat of WW3 and Covid there's so much needed with music and lyrics that connects to the heart and soul and i could not think of anyone better then Floor to do this.

Floor Jansen is a real pleasure to behold. As far as humans go, she appears to be one of the best---and I'm not referring to her musical gifts. The musical gifts are already legendary. Really happy to hear her say she is not leaving Nightwish. Tuomas + Floor = HOF !!

I try to catch all your interviews with Nightwish members. I like what you do and I really appreciate you and Floor speaking English (so I can watch and enjoy). As for Floor...I'm an old guy in the USA and a lifelong music fan. I don't believe I have ever liked an artist as much as I like Floor. To be clear, I am not referring to her out-of-this-world talent. I'm referring to her personality. I can only hope she is truly as genuine and loveable as she appears to be.

Just a point. Floor was a metal goddess long before she was with Nightwish!! That's why they called her to ask for her help , as they knew her for years and always admired her. As a matter of fact, they would have went for her before but, because they were friends with her band, After Forever, they didn't want to try to take away from them. Cheers Ronnie

As a Nightwish fan, Floor leaving the band will always be a concern. It's reassuring to hear her saying she won't, but she's become bigger than the band. If the time comes, it'll hurt like hell, but I'll be happy for her. Looking forward to seeing you live in October! My tickets turn 2 years old in a couple of months xD

I really don’t understand why people have these doubts, since Floor has always been very clear about her priorities. I see no reason to doubt her words as Nightwish has always been her number one priority.

Consider that she has been in South Africa recently for the recordings of the German TV-show "Sing mine song". Maybe the reason, why she flew in for the concerts from Berlin ?

I think it's because Floor has taken Tarja's spot in the band. Tarja is no more the most popular singer of the band, it's Floor nowadays. I understand that this is hard place to Tarja fans who admire Tarja and thinks that Tarja is the only right singer for Nightwish.

We´re so lucky that Floor is a kind of a workaholic and she kept making those music videos for her YT channel. :) But I have a bad prophesy - the "pandemic" is not over, they will repeat the shit again in the Autumn, it´s a tool to subdue everybody and make "the Great Reset", it speeds changes up.
