As I understand it, Konami's Wild West C.O.W.boys of Moo Mesa game has gameplay similar to Sunset Riders, so if you've ever played and enjoyed Sunset Riders, you can give the Moo Mesa game a go at some point. Maybe you can try out the Bucky O'Hare arcade game (also made by Konami) at some point, too!

Re: Ninjara - She has not specifically been in anything else, but the IDW comics did introduce a similar character - a white snow fox named Alopex - whom IDW had to specifically clarify is NOT Ninjara, despite the abundant similarities (including a relationship with Raph). They then brought Alopex to the 2012 CGI series, but gave her Ninjara's color scheme and overall ninja aesthetic, so it's basically Ninjara. HOWEVER!!! Ninjara and her former master, Chien Khan, have now been shown in the background of the new Shredder's Revenge DLC. So she's not entirely forgotten.

Wow, Brawler's a callback to Windows 95 era of PC gaming, where it was more rare that W95 games were full screen and games with high score tables used the windows UI to type in your name. I don't remember the 3d Ultra Pinball games having such a thing, but Full Tilt 2 sure as hell did. And yes, Full Tilt 2 is the sequel to the game that the Space Cadet 3d Pinball game was trying to sell you (Full Tilt Pinball). Granted, I remember that The Games Factory, the predecessor engine to Click Team Fusion, doing the same thing for High Scores

A major quality of Matt's, and one I always neglect to give praise, is how much raw experience he has under his belt (I know many of us have similar levels of expertise, with just as many or even more hours invested in gaining a 6th sense when it comes to how these games should play/feel like). 8:00 while I was listening to Matt's observations/insight on these games, a thought appeared : This is what a dev team can expect as input IF they ask the RIGHT people. You can't rely on a random focus group in this era because the ratio of 🤔 "unfit" people to people that don't suck, is way slanted. It'd be righteous to see people be able to monetize, and earn a living (in whatever form that has taken in this era-of-the-moving-goalpost) based on the esoteric knowledge stored in chains of amino acids, foating around in their skull, their thoughts and knowledge - their rewards, solely and uniquely their own collective archive, unaccessible and incorruptible. 😳 ......or I can maybe cut back

Yes please to C.O.W.boys of Moo Mesa! The only time I saw that game out in the wild was at the local Chuck E. Cheese (before it shut down). They had it in a tiny little arcade cabinet, like I had to kneel down to be remotely comfortable playing it when I was younger. Also, I've had Maiden Cops wishlisted for a bit, so it was nice to see you play that!

Red nose war dogs reminds me of an indie beat him up game that I saw at packs somewhere around 2015 or 2016, that I’ve never been able to find an official release for leaving me to suspect that it never got funding to be able to be completed. But the game had comic book style cel shaded art, and it was a beat him up with a werewolf with blue jeans and every now and then he could pick up a shotgun. It was supposed to be released for all the platforms but specifically I did not see Xbox as one of them. It look like something that I would’ve purchased as I did love the old stuff like final fight and Splatterhouse 3. And I’ve tried to Google image werewolf fighting game, but I’ve never been able to find it.

Nice to see some indie games highlights, actually I never heard 5 of those titles except WarDogs, I actually played that one on PS4 and enjoyed. Not sure if you played them before but if you are looking other beat'em ups in the future, there are the games 99 Vidas and Raging Justice.

To me, Maiden Cops was definitely the the best out of the six. The character designs weren't so bad either. The ingame character models and art style reminded me of River City Girls. Wonder when it'll be finished. Rednose Wardogs & Sword of The Guardian were... decent (for lack of better words, lol) but they could definitely use a lot of polish.
