I will never not be mad about Mr. Bones , not because of anything within the game. My brother and I got a copy of it way back in the day, the entire ride home we were super excited for the silly skeleton man game. When we got home, booted it up and got to the opening cutscene. My mom heard the narrator say 'damned,' ripped the game out of the console and immediately took it back to Toys R Us. I never even got to get on Mr Bones' Wild Ride.

I’m giving this a like because not only are you playing a long forgotten Sega IP on a forgotten Sega console, but you’re also playing with The Happy Video Game Nerd, who’s name, Stop Skeletons From Fighting, makes sure that the bone puns will be bad to the bone!

I still think this is such an underrated game. As silly as the story is, the setup of every stage being different is amazing and bold, no other game pulled it off like this, played this so many times on my Saturn back in the day. Soundtrack was really good and Mr.Bones himself was a fun protagonist.

Ronnie Montrose (from Montrose) did the music for this game. It's actually a pretty awesome soundtrack. One of my favorites. You can find it on KZfaq.

God, I love how experimental the 32-bit era was with the AAA developers. Just so fantastic. They managed to mostly keep it going into the Dreamcast/PS2/Xbox/GameCube era, but once consoles went HD, it became the indie devs' job to keep this sort of imagination alive.

This is a legit awesome game. Got both versions for US and Japanese. Bought the OST. Finished the game, too. (sees them running past bones in first level) Well, some one didn't read up how to play.

Mr. Bones was the only game on the Saturn that I never rented... it reminds me of Decap Attack for some reason. Decap Attack is awesome.

Out of all the games on the Sega Saturn, THIS one always stood out to me. Anytime I ever saw a Saturn in the wild as a demo kiosk, this was the game used.

Wait until you get to the underwater tunnel levels that bridge the disc swaps, they're boring and unfun but break up the monotony with parts that murder you arbitrarily until you interpret the compression mess, give up because the hitboxes are wrong anyway and finally just guess your way through.

I remember renting this game for my Sega Saturn at my local Blockbuster back in the day; some of the mini-games pissed me off, but I largely had a blast with the majority of them =)
