The final table is set in the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown with the remaining six players now set to battle to a winner on May 30 at HyperX Esports Arena at Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. A talented group returns to the action, all hoping to bring home a WPT title and adding his or her name to the Champions Cup. The winner takes home the top prize of $715,175, a $15,000 seat in the season-ending Baccarat Crystal WPT Tournament of Champions, and 1,400 points in the Hublot Player of the Year race. Here’s a look at the final players heading to Las Vegas.

I'm sorry, but when the announcers call 'open ended' twice with gut shots, I have to question what they are watching compared to what I am watching... but calling Maria's hand an open ended straight flush, when her opponent actually has the four of hearts that she needs to make that straight flush, WTH? Get with the program guys - it's been a few years since I dealt poker for a living, but don't think the terms have changed that much!

Or he wanted to show the monster so he can bluff some more preflop on later stages rather then him folding to a bet. He could not have known the guy had the Q of spades so he figured , he checked all the streets so probably no flush, if i bet he`s gone, cards not to be shown. If i check i have to show, better for value on later bluffs.

In addition, A-K of spades was never the nuts in that hand. 5-7 of spades was. His flush was beat by pocket 3s, any full house or the straight flush (2-5 or 5-7). Commentators definitely overreacted, plus he got to show.

Ex: you have few chips, you are distant third, the two big stacks at all in, and you find aces. You would fold.

@@bobbyd9319 honestly, even in that scenario, it would depend heavily on the payout structure. You're a massive favorite even in the spot you describe. If there is a MASSIVE jump in payout from 3rd to 2nd, sure. But if 3rd and 2nd pay roughly the same and then there's a massive jump in pay to 1st, then I'm all-in in that situation.
