Today we are staying in Thailand's most picturesque village called Mae Kampong, which is only an hour's drive from Chiang Mai and has a small population of only 500 people. We found an amazing little homestay there so come with us on an overnight trip hidden up in the mountains of Northern Thailand.

I grew up in mountain ( 15 years ), but I've never got bored and also still loving with it. I hope one day, I have a chance to travel in Thailand, especially Chiang Mai. Love all your videos.

Northern Thailand has a magical vibe to it. Even though there're lots of mountain in the U.S., I don't feel this magical touch for U.S. mountains at all. Northern Thailand has Harry Potter / Hogwarts or Lord of the Rings type of atmosphere. The only place that has similar feeling, I'd say it has to be Scotland. However, Scotland is a little more spookier.

Yes, you learn to go with the flow. Your lovely little Lila is learning so much about her world. It seems that she wants to get up and get going more and more; you go Lila! She’ll be walking before long. You two ladies look real good. Wat looks good, healthy and happy. It’s fun to see where you stay during your tours. Beautiful place! I’m with you Flora, toss up but streams and creeks are constant, while waves intermittent. So for me a stream makes me sleep deeper somehow 🤷‍♀️I dunno y lol. What a peaceful place. 🙏🏻❤️

When it gets busy you can park down the mountain a ways and then take a songtaew up to the village. This has helped a lot with the limited parking issue. Also, there is a van that comes up and goes back no CM 4 times a day now. It leaves from a spot beside the river near Wararot market.
