THIS is how you handle a jealousy episode well. I was annoyed by how that Journeys episode where Pikachu was neglected by Ash was way too weird and felt out of place. Floragato walking a mile in Liko's shoes and realizing just how much responsibility it is to take care of the other Pokemon who are essentially babies is a lot of work. And Liko assuring Floragato that Liko didn't forget her.

Same here, like theres so many times ash focus on other pokemon beside pikachu and he never get jealous at all, but why riolu? Sprigatito line jealously is already described in the pokedex so its normal but pikachu?

@@babyseal8822 Pikachu getting jealous now also makes sense He has been with Ash since Day 1 and he's had to watch ash put other Pokemon, especially aces, before him countless times already. And after Greninja, Lycanroc and Riolu got special treatment in three consecutive seasons, enough was enough. Just cos he's Ash's best friend doesn't mean he isn't entitled to his own mind

Because there so many time ash focus on other pokemon beside pikachu, they even have their own arcs, anyway already watch the episode, sprigatito jealousy is pretty basic, its like first child who jealous over their parent taking care of their baby, floragato thought liko dont care about her anymore until liko absent and she forced to replace her position and she realize how hard it is to be liko Also floragato realize that she is not her youngself anymore, i'm pretty sure she missed the day where liko carried her but the time keep moving foward This episode is simple and wholesome, somehow floragato taking care of the baby remind me to hawlucha taking care of noibat, i mean in the interview, it said that liko and floragato is like the bond between 2 sister

And remember, Floragato doesn't like hurting those who are important to her, so she distance herself after hitting her. Writters are smart in writing horizons… this report about wild PokéMons did have assigned to them like… 5-6 episodes back. So it's definitely not a filler with adding character development into it.

I’ve said it before and I say it again, The Episodes where the Pokémon Themselves are getting more focused on while the Trainers are off either doing something else or getting separated, have for the most part always been my Favorite Episodes in the Anime, I don’t know what it is, i just have always been more interested in the Pokémon than in the Humans, so i always appreciate it when the Pokémon gets to be treated as Characters just as much as the Humans does and not just as a bunch of tools to represent the Trainers Straight like they pretty much are in the Games.

This episode really stayed true to Floragato's behavior, like in the games. Their evolution lines always like to show off for attention, but when their trainer show their affection to other Pokémon, they get jealous.

I have to say that this episode was just really cute. The animation on Liko this episode was funny when she was worried and the scene where she and Floragato looked at each other at the end was really sweet. A nice break from the more battle-focused episodes.

Ooh that old picture where's Ash, Pikachu, Brock, May and Max bring me back to memories from my favourite Pokémon movies Jirachi, Deoxys, Manaphy and the Temple of the Sea and Lucario and Mystery of Mew, defienitily I love and miss May my favourite and the most Beautiest and Strongest Pokégril ever. Do anyone else feels old when you're thinking you've been watched Ash's whole adventure before Pokémon Horizons? I'm so glad for today's Generations who's enjoying with Pokémon Horizons Liko's and Roy's adventures and I've been growed with Ash's adventure. Is it possible Ash will ever return to Pokémon? I've heard he's return as older like 20 years old, that would be interesting to see. But for now i'm watching Liko's, Roy's and Dot's so good school life with Explorers what didin't surprised they're here. Love Sandwich! 😅❤

I think Floragato (and especially Meowscarada) are just prone to jealousy a lot. It's just sometimes a trait they have (similar to Piplups being proud Pokemon).

Well, Floragato is a Cat. Out of all the feline pokémon, the Sprigatito line definitely gives off more jealous cat-like behavior than most, despite its humanoid progression. Plus, it's description on pokémon's official website states that it's inherently jealous in nature.

@@spyroclone152 Regardless, every Pokémon is an individual and we didn’t get to defining an entire species by what the Pokédex said verbatim until recently. In addition, it gets repetitive when you’re basically doing the same kind of thing again and again with the same Pokémon who has already had the character development that would have resolved this problem

I just thought for a minute, had it been Johto Journeys episode, the plot would have been like - When Ash and Pikachu climb back the cliff and untie the vines, they hear a creak of laughter. All the Toedscool are tied in a net and Pikachu also gets captured. Ash knows who it is. And Team Rocket recite their dialogue.

I think the trio need to start catching more Pokémon for their team, they all barely have six Pokémon on their team each, especially if they are battling gyms and taking on the elite four tbh, minus of all the rare and unique Pokémon like legendaries and such, they all lack a good team, hope they build up their team soon tbh, but yeah

@@naturalharmoniagropius4486 that doesn't mean barely let them have any Pokemon to begin with or let them be passive and weak They have a villainous team that's an actual threat tailing them, they have three more hero Pokemon to find and get on their side (yes three since Rayquaza still hasn't joined them) and once they get to Laqua they have to fight off the danger that the explorers pose to it

No 1 from the RVT/explorers have 6 Pokémon and they only have 1, 2 or 3 which only spinel and Chalce has 3 so they are right on track with them I can see them getting there third soon. Also they are in a school program having 1v1 battles and they won’t fight legendarys on their own. Also this program is half over liko, roy and dot only have 1 more test to take on and there is no mention of them battling the elite 4. Going by the opening liko battles tulip, dot battles kofu, roy battles ryme so that leaves Larry not doing a test but he is most likely going to teach them to change their Tera types at his gym and grusha could be a fun snowboarding contest or something else.

I am very sure the ship Pokémon are going to stay ship Pokémon and since they didn’t make the ship destroyed so it could be built bigger and better hopefully they don’t get to many more ships Pokémon because the ship is small a lot of space is taken up by the air balloon and the Pokémon for Roy, liko and dot I want are different from the ship Pokémon, liko husui growlithe husui because its when Lucius lived and growlithe was Diana starter, roy seems to be getting a gimmieghoul since its closer to him in pictures and the poster and dot should get a rockruff since its a family Pokémon her mom gots midnight lycanrok Murdock can evolve his to midday lycanrok and dot can evolve hers to dusk lycanrok.

There is a leaked short summery of a recent revealed episode coming in June 7th that WILL involve with a Hatanna and its likely Liko's and im assuming either her Hatanna would either evolve after Roy's Wattel which is likely going to happen next week OR it will learn a brand new move that should do damage to opponents.

This is how to make good filler, not nostalgia bait or random episode without zero development at all, even the episode where friede meet cap and the episode that featuring varoom is actually filler, the bond between pokemon and the trainer is more important than just a battle, something that fake pokemon will not understand

@eljordinio7647 🤔 There's a possibility that the petal tornado may be subject to a development curve for Floragato in the future based on how mesmerize she was when she saw it. Otherwise, there's been a noticeable enough development for Floragato and Liko as of Late. You should just sit back and let the series run its course and pay attention to the small details.

And with how much more story driven this series is, we need more episodes that are actually worth something and have at least one noteworthy event in them Overcoming jealousy isn't a noteworthy payoff or event when bulbapedia doesn't even mention it

Aside from overcoming her jealousy, nothing important came out of this With how much Liko was trying to help those Pokemon out, one of them could have decided to stay with her and join the team. Yes it's another grass type but once flora evolves they're going to be type diverse anyway Besides the least we could have gotten is a new move here since Flora's in desperate need of another upgrade. With that petal tornado we saw, it could have powered her up so she could learn petal blizzard. Yeah u made a good point about foreshadowing but this would have been a great time to learn the move right then and there

I didn't really enjoy this episode. It felt too similar to previous episodes focusing on Sprigatito. Of course, it wasn't the exact same but just felt repetitive to me to focus on Floragoto's jealousy again since we already done that with Sprigatitio, and the way it was resolved felt repetitive too. Guess it makes sense that the jealousy trait didn't just disappear but still found it pretty boring to have that be the main focus again. I do usually love episodes focusing on the bond between trainer and pokemon and I don't mind a break from the action, but just didn't feel like this ep added anything new.

@@eljordinio7647 To be fair, it was established that Roy's Wattrel was actually smaller than most of its species, so not sure if it'll just grow to average size upon evolution. My guess based on the preview is that Wattrel saves him by learning Hurricane.

I love Liko focussed episodes. They are not much action packed nor much thrilling. But that slow pacing always gives you a deep insight of life. These episodes, I dunno why, but make me emotional. I literally cried when Liko hugged Sprigatito back in Ep 40, as I did now when she held Floragato's hand while viewing the Flower Pillar. Best character in my eyes...

@@eljordinio7647Okay.. I agree partially. But aren't these kinds of episodes compatible with her character? Although, the entire plot is focussing on her, we do get less of Liko focussed episodes(in terms of her goal), actually. But all of them are neat and deep, indicating the fruits of good writing. People do hate them but I feel Liko's episodes are the only ones that give us a deeper insight into the Pokémon world. Consider Ep 38 or 26 or 32, so far these were the only episodes focussing on her goal as far as I remember, but they all presented a beautiful narrative.

After noting a desire to battle and get stronger, now she's reverting back to her mostly passive self I'm aware her goal is passive in nature but that doesn't mean SHE has to be 90 percent of the time. Plus how much longer do they expect to keep flora's moveset the same without another major upgrade? Poor cat hasn't learned ANYTHING since evolving and this would have been a good time to give her one even if it was used just on the spur of the moment. Plus a change in fur is no major payoff or noteworthy since she's got no control over her partner's tendency to get jealous

@@eljordinio7647 As for moveset, yes, I agree she needs a change. It's just Leafs, Big Leafs and then Leafs that don't miss. She needs a variety. But, Leafage is her signature move, as pointed out in Ep 40. I think the next move will most probably end up being Leaf Storm. As for you calling it filler, yes, it seemed filler. But let's not judge too early, maybe some developments were made, like Floragato learning more about Liko. Anyways, again, the filler was better than many from previous series like JN or Johto Journeys, for which HZ should be praised again, for making fillers feel amusing.

@@Aditya17-v3p after all the times they chose to screw up with journeys, especially in the filler department, and the lake fillers we got in Horizons like episode 13 and some of the start to the second arc, I'm sorry but filler is one thing that I cannot, do not, and WILL not tolerate at this point I expect results, not further screw ups like this and if they're not delivered, then there's a problem

Honestly this episode made me think even more that Liko is a victim of domestic violence, she gets beaten/slapped by her pokemon that gets angry everytime it does not get attention, the narcissistic little prick that it is....Floragato is just like a person that beats their partner for no apparent reason at all...and Liko just accept the violence with a smile...

I think he might use Crunchy Roll because, as far as I know, those aren't dubbed yet. It's only the dub as far as I know that is on Netflix. Otherwise pirating site not giving any links sadly don't want those sites taken down.

I really enjoyed this episode and the call back to Floragato's jealous tendencies at times. In this episode I could feel her annoyance with Liko and the littler Pokemon because they really do act like aimless toddlers just constantly doing dumb things. This is one of those moments Liko shows her flaws when it comes to her own Pokemon any other trainer like let's say, Serena has shown she's not afraid to tell her Pokemon to wait if they are acting unruly when she's busy, she legit yelled at her braixen and pancham to stop fighting or she wouldn't brush either of them while she was brushing Eevee. Hattena just got finished with her bath but walked right into the dirt again anyways, getting herself dirty. Had that been Serena she probably would have tended to her next Pokemon in line and told Hatenna to hold on since she needs to help Floragato now, she got herself dirty so she has to wait again. Liko on the other hand watched what happened helped Hatenna which was good but then proceeds to ignore the still dirty Floragato to tend to Hattena who remember, did that to herself. I can see why Floragato got upset there, a good learning opportunity for Hattena was passed up at the expense of Floragato. I'm glad Flora gets to learn a bit more patience but I hope Liko can also learn to be a bit firmer with the known wanderers of her team, she can't keep letting Floragato get steamrolled because she doesn't know how to ask them to just stay put for five minutes. Even better just keep Terapagos in the bag until she can keep and eye on them because her letting it just mindlessly wander is what causes a lot of this in the first place. All in all good episode just hoping Liko can get a bit more growth on Pokemon rearing that isn't just learning how to tell how they feel.

Did Floragato learned a new move? The Grass Cat has a sh*tty moveset that consists of: - Scratch - Leafage - Quick Attack - Magical Leaf Compared to Floragato, the moveset of Fuecoco is more diverse, which consists of: - Stomping Tantrum - Flamethrower - Disarming Voice - Flame Charge While, Quaxly is catching up with: - Pound - Water Gun - Low Kick - Liquidation

I can only go as high as 6/10. I know a lot of people are not having it with the ep, but I agree I think it was really cute. I like that Floragato's staying true to her personality of being jealous whenever the trainer unintentionally ignores her! 💚 Hatenna & Terapagos are just the cutest and I love the dynamic between Liko's pokemon in this ep!

Cute sure but nothing important happened This could have been a good time for Liko to get a new team member since she's been trying to help those toedscools the whole time, or for floragato to be powered up by that petal tornado and learn petal blizzard

A filler as this was, at least it let liko take another step in her goal to understanding Pokemon's feelings I at least wish flora learned a new move or something. Like petal blizzard considering that's what we got with the tornado 🌪️

Literally Floragatto hasn’t learned like any new moves over the entire anime I think she’s only learned like two with quick attack and Magical leaf and magical leaf was just an upgraded leaf age it didn’t even add anything new to her Moveset she is in desperate need of some new moves

@@eljordinio7647 She needs to learn Petal Blizzard so that she doesn't have 60 base power attack as her spam attack. And have Acrobatics, Play Rough, and Sucker Punch. I already have an idea as to how Petal Blizzard and Sucker Punch are animated using her yoyo.

@@thefearlessone2649 sucker punch is pretty good in landing a hit first but it only works if your opponent is trying to attack, and that can be situational Night slash and shadow Claw are better cos both can crit

Another, lame, boring and nothing give to story filler episode. I lost time when i watch this, mayby if in next week we see Ghost leader episode be better. Becase i hate watch episodes like that as today. That why, for me i give this episode 6/10. And why? Becase Toadescool appear, and i was curious how look like in anime. Nothing else...still is for me poor episode...

This was one of the rare filler episodes Horizons has, but it was still decently enjoyable. Never knew Floragato gets spiky when it's angry 😂 Edit: Hey! @jdogmcfly1712 If you notice this, I tried responding to you the normal way, but KZfaq deleted that for some reason (kept my language clean, was polite, don't know what its problem is with me but it keeps doing it lately) but my reason for considering this filler is that aside from Floragato getting more of a perspective this time, nothing really happens. We've already also had an episode back when Diana was traveling with them where Sprigatito was dealing with jealousy over Liko paying some extra attention to her other Pokemon, particularly Terapagos.)

I feel like we've had an episode or two where Sprigatito was dealing with jealousy already tho. I think when Diana was still traveling with them. It didn't feel like it contributed that much except giving Floragato more of a perspective this time around. Not really much else happens tho. No new moves or anything. @@jdogmcfly1712
