That man Deion is a damn good coach, he got every faze of the game on lock, he didn’t leave a single stone unturned. Made sure every single one of his guys were ready to play no matter the position, you can tell this team has good coaches and good camaraderie.

Despite the water crisis in Jackson Mississippi, Coach Deion Sanders prepared the Jackson State football team not just for a win, but a very DOMINANT win, just like he said in the press. But I can't help but to consider the situation going on with FAMU's football team. They're dealing with some NCAA eligibility issues and I believe they were missing a lot of players due to that situation. There were rumors of the FAMU's football team talking about boycotting because of lack of support from school administration.. so maybe what we saw today isn't the true FAMU

Is JSU that good, or is FAMU that bad? When Deion Sanders first took that job I thought it was more of a marketing gimmick...where it would be business as usual, with Prime just adding his prestige to the program to make the boosters swell with pride and open their wallets. I had no clue he would be so active and serious in taking that program to new heights...and perhaps not far in the future to the big time. He is really taking care of business...from landing one of the country's top recruits to bringing in former NFL head coaches like Mike Zimmer(!) and bringing new and increasing attention to FCS football, especially HCBU conferences. So it's not a surprise anymore that Jackson State looks so good. Whether they are the best in their conference remains to be seen. And even if they aren't - yet - they'll still look like a professionally coached football team. Deion has been brilliant with what he's doing down there at JSU. And he's got to be impressed with his son! I know I was. There's no doubt now the talent in that program is only going to get better in coming years...with what Deion is doing there.
