Shawn Irene, I am not so sure she was faking her crying. She shows signs of PTSD to me. Her husband got so deeply into her head and heart she needs some serious counseling. A person with PTSD over something like that can live on the verge of tears all the time that seems quite abnormal to other people. Her husband was a public figure in Jacksonville when she met him, so she had no reason to think she was being dubed when their relationship began. He even drew her family into his game making them think he was a good guy. He is a despicable con-artist who crushed her dreams and left her holding the bag. It is sad and leaves me shaking my head.

"Everything he did" I do feel sorry for her, I do. She was duped and taken advantage of and he chose her specifically BECAUSE she would be easy to fool into that (so many middle aged women are fished into schemes like this because they're lonely and naive). But the fact that she knew he wasn't dead and tried to collect 7 insurance payouts while also flying to him to give him money--yeah that's not just accidentally aiding, she was willfully ignoring all evidence to the contrary.

That good christian woman with good christian morals got off light. She was in on it from start. OK he had to fake his death, but did she really need to claim the insurance (hiring lawyers etc. and telling the insurance company he was gone, knowing he was still alive). Ahhh and look at those tears (probably because the poop hit the fan for her and she pooped her pants and starts crying like women do). On the other hand, banks deserve to get defrauded from time to time. Its pay back for screwing everyone over, loans, charges, financial crisis - quantitative easing (which is when the governments gave a tonne of money to the banks to help the citizens of the country who where struggling, only so the citizens would have to pay that debt off through austerity and taxes). Fair play to the woman and man. Shame they got caught.

I think the whole family fell in love with his money. I don't understand exactly why the wife thought they had to collect 8 million in insurance to keep the cartel away. She wanted the money! She's lucky she served so little time after lying to federal agents and participating in insurance fraud.

It is funny in a way- my ex, when we first met he told me all these horror stories- he was a tank driver in the military... a small town they ambushed he saw a woman standing there holding a baby without a head. He made it sound so convincing- I cried and told him he needed to talk to my dad about this- my dad was a 20 vet- Vietnam. But long story short, 2 years into our relationship I go out to lunch with his mom and somehow military comes up and she says to me "he was never in the military..." :-) Bunch of other lies I discovered - stupid stuff - you never knew what you could believe coming out of this guy's mouth. These men live a fantasy life and will do anything to have you believe their games- so sad!
