Yes. It’s true. We are going back to Florida. Again.
And yes, we are taking the kids out of school.
We went in December 21 just after the boarders reopened because Christmas time was always a season we wanted to see in the parks. We didn’t except to love it so much that we would book to do it again the following year but thanks to good planning and sticking to a budget on all of our trips we made it happen.
Who knows what the future holds so do the things you love when you can.
Today you are joining us on pre travel day and doing all the last minute preparations then at our airport hotel for the night.

Where to start. My wife and I have been binge watching your vlogs since finding you on KZfaq . My wife and I are America mad. We went last December and March to Florida, then August to California. We have been to the states 39 times now, we are also booked to go to Orlando next March(counting and planning the days already). Time to big you all up, your videos, like Florida Obsessed are absolutely amazing. They are real, my wife commented while watching one it was as if she was watching one of her brothers videos when he was away with his kids. It’s as if we are away with you and we know you. I can’t wait for the rest of your December trip lol. I hope you and all are having a fantastic time. I mentioned this to Florida Obsessed, should my wife and I ever bump into you in a restaurant over there, or just over there, dinner is on us. X

Hi Stephen. What an absolutely lovely comment and thank you so much for your kind words. Wow 39 times. We absolutely love America. My first visit was New York in 2012 so that’s 11 times. All NY, California and Florida. Once the kids have grown up Ian and I want to do a road trip and see a good few states. Don’t fancy it with 2 teenagers 🤣. Our videos are definitely real. I like to be honest and none of us put on an act in front the camera. What you see is us. Hope you have the most amazing time in March. It’s not long now. Xx

I’m wishing Xmas away already lol I meant every word I said, it’s so nice to see other people loving their holiday exactly the same as we do when we are over there. @@TheDandylion5 Universal passes are valid for a year. We do have another trip booked but not for a while. Need to save hard for that one 😃

Haha was that sandwich in Tesco? Joe loves his walks and he loves the dog sitter as much as she loves him so we know he’s in good hands when we go away. X

Regarding books to read; I am not an avid reader in general (prefer reading factual books), however, I am a big fan of John Grisham books. He was a practicing lawyer and uses that depth of knowledge when writing his crime novels (you may have seen some of his books as movies: pelican brief, a time to kill, the client to name a few). I think they are great reads (especially when travelling to/in USA as they’re all set in US (mostly southern states).

looking forward to the next vlog , we are traveling out with BA in May , 4 years since we last was there and always used TUI but sadly fell out of love with them over their customer service when we returned , can't wait to see what's new there on your coming vlogs

Ah not long now then. I think sometimes you have a good experience and sometimes you don’t. At the end of the day we go with what works for us and mainly the best cost. We were all about Virgin and to be fair their customer service during the whole covid situation was great but when pricing new bookings they just weren’t offering what we needed. I have looked at TUI and would consider flying with them but the prices haven’t been any better for our dates. BA flight out to Florida in December 21 - brilliant. Great crew, drinks flowing. BA flight in Aug outbound - bad seats, service not great. Flight back - they were brilliant and dealt with the situation very well. Xx

With ba flying out this time first time for us, not sure would do it again if it's a full flight, crew couldn't do enough for us but Mco terminal c need to sort out how long they take to get baggage out on to carousel, from landing to universal cabana bay took 2 and half hours

Just annoying as I’m rubbish with make up and never know what to buy. I suppose I won’t have to buy anymore for a while now 😃 Verity - ok thank you. I’ll have a nose at that for future. I didn’t even end up reading the book I bought! 🤣

Wait weren’t you literally just there lol? We were in Orlando for Halloween and we did the howl-o-scream in Seaworld and it was AMAZING! We also did universal and islands of adventure. I’m 14 and I honestly think that my age and older is honestly perfect age to be able to go. ENJOY!!!! SO LUCKY YOU GUYS GET TO DO THIS SO OFTEN 💕💕💕💕

We had really good weather in December 21 and 22. Low to mid 20s. It was perfect and not too busy xx

Ah we flew home on 8th. As you can see I’m still on Florida time 🤣Hope you’re having a great time so far. It’s blooming freezing back here. Was a bit of a shock going from 28 degrees to -2 🥶

@@sjarvis8617 into Tampa? It was like flying in the 80s. Never been on a plane so old. I’ve had that before with the water dripping. That was a virgin flight though. I remember shoving loads of tissue up there 🤣

Just because of the traffic on M25 that builds up at rush hour. Depending on flight time it’s just not worth taking the chance xx

I don’t believe anyone has an understanding school. 😆 I would be shocked if not fined even though the school doesn’t see any issue when they cancel lessons due to staff absences! 🙄

@@theburgesses2004 our senior school also took my daughter out of classes for the whole day so she could be a “courier” for the day! If I took my daughter out for the day I would be frowned upon and yet it’s ok for them to do it. 😳

@@lucychidgey160 oh yeah. We have that - Runners I believe they call them. In 2021 the school cancelled all lessons for certain year groups for 19 days in total not including the government school closures. Funny they don’t seem to think that would have any impact. Found out last week there were so many teachers off sick they ended up all in the hall not learning anything anyway! 🤨
