After the (0-1) start and home loss in Swamp for Gators to open those 2024 Season… maybe they can get back on track. The Miami Hurricanes are absolutely loaded this year and should comfortably win by 10+, even in the Swamp at night QB Cameron Ward is a Top 10 QB in Nation, a lot would say Top 5

I wish Lagway would work on a higher release. He seems to sling the ball from a 3/4 arm motion which will get a lot of batted balls with the size of SEC D-lines.

I think that’s because he’s also a motion qb, and that’s an ideal way to sling the ball from a motion movement. Either way, I do agree with you! I think his natural talent is what will set him apart! That and how he’s dedicated to his craft! Let’s go gators 🐊

Yeah but it's only year one for him he will adjust if he has problems with it the next following years

He uses different motions for different throws like in the run or in the pocket he can use different arm angles cause he has a rocket 🚀 for an arm. That’s what all the scouts are looking for like the next Josh Allen or if possible Patrick Mahomes. He’ll get coached up along with his personal qb coach he’ll be great!!

I’m a big fan of DJ and his commitment to UF. I hope y’all are right. What causes me concern is he uses that low release even in drills over the middle where he has the opportunity throw over the top more. There’s also a lot of risk in trying to change that motion at this point.@@Gators1216

DJ is DJ stop trying to change the way someone play all the time it didn't hurt Richardson and not many QBs in the NFL... This isn't little league you have to be able to throw from all forms of angles period that's just a gift he has from Playing baseball that translates

With the players we have brought in if we can get the oline healthy and the linebackers healthy I think we have a good shot to win 7 to 10 games this year

Anything is possible, but I think 7 would be amazing and 10 a moon shot Vegas has UF as lucky to make a bowl and that is the best reasonable.expectstion IMO. Mertz was consistent was horrible on.a yards.per attempt basis....

It's evident that we need to focus on tackling and interceptions, bottom line. These players just don't compare to the ones from the 2005-2009 era. Their running style seems too high, and their footwork is lacking. Maybe it's time for the coach to sit them down and show them highlights of the 2008-2009 defensive and offensive teams. They need to understand that this is the standard we expect as Gator Nation! Period man I remember when Major Wright, Joe Haden And A.Black use to walk up the the WRS Clapping they hands getting in the other players heads!! Breaking they mental !!!!

Love how the Basketball team taunted the troll fans this year. "NITodd" was constantly thrown back in their faces after big wins. Football recruiting and portal will be a huge embaressment as nobody would want to be a part of "bitter fan nation".
