Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Tuesday visited a Walgreens pharmacy in Stuart to sign a new law cracking down on retail theft.
HB 549 increases penalties for those who commit retail theft, along with so-called "porch pirates" who steal packages from in front of people's homes.

Have to agree with you . We just came off the highway and people driving dangerously . If the speed limit 70 ( for example ) they are driving 80 mph and they don't care about themselves or anyone else. Just like one of the Sheriff in Florida , spoke a reckless driver , driving 100 mph and end up killing 2 people and herself. This is what's happening if you are driving reckless and speeding, and if you end up stopped, you will end up with an $1,000 or $2,000 fine ( first offender ) , can't imagine , what the next fine will be in jail .

Yes, tough on stupid slow drivers causing traffic and people lane switching which causes accidents.

@claytonbigsby9673 If you're in a vehicle, you're NOT in traffic. You ARE the traffic. The only way to reduce traffic congestion is to provide viable alternatives to driving. Do you drive everywhere?

Heard on the Radio, Subdivisions are making their neighborhoods into Gated Communities. And The Neighbors are walking the Beat , with different kinds of security , 24/7, etcccc. And each neighbors will have at least 10 Cameras on their home and yards. They have their own plan, not told in detail.

Like many states, he can't serve more than two consecutive terms but can run again after being out of office for four years. I'll vote for him no matter what office he seeks, congressional, Senate or governor again.
