Florida Home Renovations: A look back at our Transformation Journey

Since we moved to Florida, we've come up with creative ways to utilize the space in our rental home. We have been blessed agin with remarkable landlords who have allowed us the flexibility to enhance the space that our family calls home.
Since we've arrived here in the sunshine state, we've updated our living room space, Carson's bedroom, the girls bedroom, our outdoor space, and are now working on completing our master bedroom. Chad has also been able to take on some wonderful renovation projects for clients here in town, and I am so impressed by what he's been able to accomplish with Paine Construction!
While illness and life's busy demands have delayed our video this week (sorry), we look forward to sharing a fun and exciting few updates in the coming days! We're approaching our Annual Anniversary Sale for Chad & Erin Co. and can't wait to show you all of our new products! In addition, we're excited to reveal the renovation to our master bedroom, which is the last major update here in our home!

Beautiful living and kitchen area, I wonder if you are able to stain your school cabinet to match your kitchen cabinets to that cherry wood color? Oh Yeah I Agree !!! I was going to make our bedroom for my 3 Grandsons but my husband said no ....And he also says ....Are You Crazy !! Lol. No. But I would be willing to Give up our 20x20 room and take their 12x12 rm. When it's just us two. 2 of Mt Grandsons shared a rm. And the youngest was in my daughter and son in laws rm. Until he was 5 !!

personally, i was so not a fan of those bright colors in the kids rooms. i think it made them look so much smaller. your muted colors in william's space make it look so much bigger and the way it's separated from carson's area is perfect while he's young enough to be in a crib. over the years i've watched your styles change as you and your family change and i have to say, you've come a long way from your pink marital bedroom to now. (and i do not mean that as an insult! i mean because it was one of the first, if not the first, room you redecorated way back when) you have a great way of arranging and organizing spaces to accommodate your growing family. looking forward to the master bedroom remodel! great job with everything you two!

@@LeahFairfield what's up with the bitterness? had a bad day or something? chill girl. get some rest and it'll get better. it always does. now, disappointment in what? i had to reread my compliment to see what i was 'disappointed' in and came to the conclusion that either 1) you're responding to the wrong compliment/comment; it happens especially if you're using a phone; or 2) you didn't actually read the compliment/comment or 3) you don't like the idea that i personally think bright colors make the rooms look smaller and this was your old house and you painted the bright colors and don't like when people say that they themselves aren't a fan of colors that make spaces look smaller because they differ from your opinion. otherwise why would you be so offended and rude to me, when i'm complimenting chad and erin on the beautiful changes they've made? if you found it absolutely necessary to respond to a comment you disagreed with, why not just say that instead of trying to be disparaging to the commenter at the same time. it's not a good look. the same goes for it you are responding in error to me or someone else. treat people the way you want to be treated, whether in person or online. hope you have a better day!

@@anneahlefeld1989 yes, you are right, it is finley's spot and i should have said that first to avoid confusion. sorry. i could be wrong but i thought the space under the window in the girls room was going to be finley's eventually and was projecting about when william comes, how much nicer it'll be for a little baby's space. quieter, darker and out of the way. a womb-room so to speak, perfect for a sleeping baby!

Like maybe 2 girls split between two bedrooms one room does have a bunk bed. the bedrooms aren’t all done yet. She did say the house is definitely not finished. You can’t assume the four girls don’t have space in that house.

I’m about to move my two year old in the same room as my 5 year old and I’m worried they’ll stay awake all night😅

Instead of cramming all of the girls into that small space, I would have given them the main bedroom, or at least not built that huge cabinet unit to take up so much room. But either way, it's lovely.

I always enjoy watching whatever you both upload as it makes me slow down and relax internally while I do. I was listening to a sermon today about how God made men and women to join together in Holy Matrimony, leaving the mother and father and the 2 becoming one. God truly picked you both to join together as you each have several gifts and one is an accompaniment to the other. You are both so busy and I know that the Lord blesses your endeavours because you put him first, just as He promised He would do. He is very faithful and although life is not lived without struggle, God has you in the safest place of all and that is in the centre of His Will. Abide there daily, and I believe that God will continue to keep up His promises! Lovely to see the renovations and the house is beautiful! God bless you both and your gorgeous children! They will figure it out concerning the girls as they grow. This is far more space then they had in the last home. My opinion is the parents should have the master and the separate bath which she referred to as a second bath so I’m sure everyone who needs is used lovely home ❤.

@hg.13:with a new baby it would technically be 3 people in the master bedroom and not 2. Plus Iam sure they have a plan for when the girls get older like maybe adding onto the house for the bedrooms. But it also depends on if it’s a rent or buy they do have more space in their current house than they did in their last one. Point is she also said the house wasn’t entirely done yet so you can’t assume who gets what parts of the house just yet.

We grew up all my siblings at one point sharing a room then moving boys in one and girls in the other. You know what we never had any issues with that ever. We were 7 kids 4 of us were girls. Wouldn’t train that for the world. We have a house way smaller than there’s so just imagine that. We survived and thrived.

So few young men these days have the skills to do the things Chad does for your family. When you combine his skills in carpentry and other areas with Erin’s ability to visualize and decorate, the results are amazing!
