Rangers are highly skilled. They have a great goaltender, and talent. The Panthers have all that, but they have a physicality and toughness forged from getting swept two years ago, and making an unseen run last year.

@@jayscott1380 The roster changes helped, but many of the players on the team were present when they got swept by Tampa. Those types of things stay with you as a player and allow you to overcome adversity later. Essentially every cup winner in the cap era experienced some major failure before they got over the hump. For that reason, it really does feel like Florida's time.

Under the suffer some adversity first, then your ready, I'd argue it's more Edmonton's turn or at least they're just as equally deserving.

@@Wayf4rer also with the roster changes, they completely changed their style of play. It might have a lot of the same players, but they play a different brand of hockey than they use to. A brand that actually works in the playoffs. If you really want to give credit to anything, then there you go. Any ways every team every year, except 1, suffers adversity.

@@tonybellick7841 Clearly you haven’t watched the Panthers if you think they’re gonna get “smacked around.” This team has top tier playoff effort from every player, tons of offensive skill from Tkachuk, Barkov and great playoff performers like Verhaege and Rodrigues. Not to mention they get physical and grind it out, as a red wings fan I really appreciate players like Tkachuk who not only are very talented at scoring, but are physical and really leave an impression on the game. The panthers have so many players with great ice presence. It’ll be tight no matter who they play but the Panthers are winning the Stanley Cup

@@jasonmorris9330 you know nothing about the Oilers. They had the best record in the new year and went on a 16 game win streak. The playoffs, Oilers depth is very good. All 4 lines produce, they've shut down the PK 24 times of the last 25 times and I wont even begin to with their PP. They have very strong forecheck, they're fast and tough. The Oilers are the only team that can shut down the Panthers.

I really want to see Kyle Okposo win a championship. He's likely going to retire after the finals are over. He's been through so much in his career with many injuries and being part of many terrible teams. He was an Islander from 2007 to 2016 and he only made the playoffs three times (one series win). He was in Buffalo from 2016 to 2024 and he never made the playoffs with them. I'm really happy for him. This is something he's waited his entire career for. At long last, he finally gets to play for a Stanley Cup and I'm pulling for him to be part of a championship team.

Rangers went into the season with high hopes and for good reason. Taking nothing away from them, but unfortunately they ran into a loaded freight train and a brick wall in Bobrovsky. Panthers will go on to win the Cup.

Очень хочется посмотреть серию "Рейнджерс"- "Флорида", серию "Шестёркин" - "Бобровский", серию, где играют друг против друга 2-а Российских вратаря, 2 друга, думаю 2 легенды Мирового хоккея, огонь была бы серия. Вышеперечисленное писал когда плей-офф только начался и вот свершилось (болею за 2-е команды, но Флорида всё же перевешивает), думаю огонь будет серия. Классная серия, два лучших вратаря, две классные команды (болел за обе, но Боб с Кузни, (да и годков уже), Флорида-вперёд). Панарин всё же закатил другу, хороший хоккей.

Rats. When they played in the old Miami Arena in the 90's, a rat got into the locker room and Scott Melanby killed it with a hockey stick. He went on to score 2 goals in that game. Vanbeisbrouck said he scored a "rat trick". As the story got around, people started bringing the plastic rats to games and threw them on the ice damn near every time the Panthers scored a goal. It's become tradition to throw them on the ice after a win.
